The New Fauncast - questions

The Fauncast (aka New Fauncast) will be starting this week.

The first topic (recording in the next couple of days hopefully) will be Althanas Day, of its success and its general enjoyment. Facts and figures will be brought out, things discussed. As special guests we will have Cards of Fate himself, the wonderful BlackandBlueEyes and Artifex Felix as a special honoured guest.

I would quite like to know where the guests, and yourself, see your characters progressing from here and in what ways Althanas Day helped for that? (If at all?)

Also, would like a quick opinion on who each member's favorite returning oldbie has been in the last few months!

Did the cast member come back from being away? Where were they? If not, did they see familiar faces that they had worked with in the past?

Should Althanas Day be an annual event?

Are there any other ideas the writer has for improving the activity level / infusing more people into Althanas?

We're having another fauncast!!!

In this episode, airing soon, we'll be discussing two things - firstly all threads creepy and wonderful, and how to make the best Hallowe'en and scary stories, and then the site in general, how we think it can improve.

I will be joined by Andy (Black and Blue Eyes) again as well as Shinsou and Storm.

Talk about horror stories!

First, define horror! We can't do jump scares through writing, so what is it that we can do?
What makes a good horror thread? What techniques do you all personally use to create a sense of the macabre?
Does Althanas do forshadowing well?
Who has the best horror writing? or What thread have you read that carried a good horror vibe?

What do you think of the decreasing PG activity? Increasing "villain" activities as well? Is Althanas ICly due for a dark age?

OKAY!!!

After the failed mishap of the last fauncast (basically, Shino's internet died), we have decided to do a new recording this week!

The discussion will be on the changes to the site, including the introduction of the AP system at large, the introduction of the super-mods and just how much we miss Sei. We will be giving the AP system a thorough look over before it goes live, discussing all its weaknesses and strengths.
Second topic we will be looking at is Christmas!!! We will be answering your questions about the Hallowe'en and spooky ideas, and moving on to the festive threads sparking up. We will be discussing vignettes, and how successful they are, most especially the themed ones (Hallowe'en, Valentines Day etc).

Your hosts will be myself, Shino of the new Shinquisition fame and BlackAndBlueEyes. We are possibly also, though, looking for another person to join us if you wish, who perhaps has used the AP system in its trial phase and would like to be on the fauncast! (recording times will be 9pm GMT 22nd)

Its going to be a roller-coster of a festive ride.
