Entity: The Conjurer
Race: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Gender: None

The Conjurer is a sizzling mass of chaos. Forged by an alliance when no alliance was permitted, the chaos within was possessed by purpose. Purpose led to self-awareness, which in turn led to consciousness. His self-appointed purpose is to bring balance to the universe, to be a bastion against entropy. To do so he has scheme a grand plan, which content and objectives are far from clear.

To act in this and any universe The Conjurer has learned to posses living beings. The nature of the possession varies depending on the subject. Currently The Conjurer has possessed a certain mercenary, which traits are as follows:

Name: Zeregin
Race: Human
Age: 39
Gender: Male

Subject’s appearance:
Zeregin is a wrecked soul, and his exterior is a vivid reflection of what lies beneath flesh and bone. Un-kept, careless of his appearance, he wears tattered rags under tattered leather shirt and pants. Of average height, he is by no means imposing. Rather, his tendency to drag his feet, as if he carried some invisible weight, has caused a subtle hunch on his back. An oily mass of dirty brown hair, populated with lice, covers a round face that, if not for the dry pimple marks, would have passed as acceptable. His eyes, dark and uncaring, dart this way and that, ever restless.

Subject’s weapons:
Mercenaries, by the nature of their job, are required to be properly equipped. Zeregin’s carelessness in relation to his appearance contrasts with his dedication to the blades and apparel he carries.
1) Dagger: Made out of re-forged iron. The length of the blade is 20 centimeters.
2) Short Sword: Made out of re-forged iron. The length of the blade is 40 centimeters.
3) Buckler: Made out of bronze and yew wood.

Subject’s skills:
Zeregin has had his shares of alley fights against and among thugs, fellow mercenaries and terror-stricken townsfolk, whereas backstabbing attempts in dark corridors were as common as lice in a tavern bed. Wits, a certain degree of skills with daggers and a fair share of madness are necessary to survive such ordeal. Zeregin has managed, by force of skills and betrayals, to make his way in life more or less in one piece.
As a result, Zeregin is adept in dark-alley confrontations with short swords and daggers. He has learned the fine art of subterfuge, to hide in shadows, taking advantage of blinds spots.

The Conjurer’s powers
The possession of a subject is limited in terms of action. Reduced to merely a spectator, The Conjurer is unable to directly control the will or actions of the subject, nor is the subject aware of its presence. The possession brings to particular skills or abilities, except the following two:
1) Last-Minute Awareness
Moment before death the subject is made aware of the presence residing within him. The awareness opens the possibility to a change of moral perspectives, of a better understanding of the world.
2) The Conjurer’s Spark
The Conjurer – subject symbiosis ignites a spark of change and purpose in the subject. It is a resilience of The Conjurer’s presence; a cleansing, if you will, of the soul’s chaos.
