Let me begin by thanking you all for your warm thoughts, prayers, and allowing me to perhaps share too much info in chat. For those of you that are not aware, this morning I was diagnosed with bone cancer. Fortunately, the cancer specialist said that it was caught relatively early on, and that my bone marrow has not been as of yet, compromised. A treatment solution has been discussed, and the first stage of which has been implemented. While I’d love it if such events didn’t impact my life, and those things in it I much enjoy, it unfortunately has. I am at present attempting to put together a comprehensive schedule so those that write with me will be able to expect a general response rate.

Again, I thank you for your warm wishes and concerns over my welfare, as I was truly touched, and hope this addresses all concerns. I shall of course, notify you if any of these changes. The next few months will be particularly bumpy for me, and my posting rate, such as it is, may slow, I have every intention of remaining here, and enjoying this site and its members for years to come. Don't worry about response times or happenings in your stories. You need to take care of yourself first and foremost, and I'm sure you'll have days when treatment is kicking your butt and you barely have the energy to listen to stories. And that's all right.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going to have to go through this; happy to hear that by the sounds of it you were diagnosed on the earlier side (based on your statement that it hadn't reached marrow). Of course, please take care of yourself, let us know if there's anything that can be done.

On a tangentially related note, since some are not so lucky and DO need marrow replacement, I know a few of my friends have donated marrow and I have also begun the process of becoming a donor. I'd highly recommend for any healthy Althanians the opportunity to give for those that are able.

As most of you know by now, I’m recovering from being shot. This has taken more out of me then any other event so far, probably as some combination of all three, who knows. At any rate, I don’t know when I will feel up to writing, and so am removing myself from all threads. The three of which I’m in at any rate.

Rayse, if you want to find someone else to write with I’ll understand. Mordelain & Tobias, I’m going to be deleting my post in your thread, just carry on without me. Tobias and Blue ghost, since our thread together has gone no where, probably my fault, I hope you don’t mind putting it on hold. Christoph, I’ll get back to you on lore stuff when I can. The best laid plans of mice and men are at work, and while I’m going to return, I don’t know when that will be, I apologize for any inconveniences.
