So, they let us loose with a mini project at college for Halloween. Making a mask.

Parameters were simple - make whatever you want, just finish it in a day. So, I made this:

I'm still planning to work away on it here and there, but as a basic starter, I'm happy with it.

That and adding different pigmentation to the skin, to mark the many different donors. I just ran out of time on the day.

Group work, this time - working on upscaling a Lego man to ten times the normal size. Not the best pic ever, but it'll suffice for now until the work is finished.

Well, completed this one in time for the deadline. Seems to have turned out not bad, besides the need for a bit of touching up on the detailing.

That's awesome! The details and scaling look PERFECT. Don't add anything more to the face because they can't paint finer details on Legos than that. Such great work!

Been a while.

Figured I'd post updated pictures of the latest project I've been working on for college. Design brief was to make a Jack In The Box.

Of course, me being me, I decided to go whole-hog and make my own Hellraiser puzzle box. (also yes, that is a mouse-trap you see in the WIP images. Had to improvise a spring-loaded hinge.)

And before that was designing a miniature set based on a movie, or in my case, a music video. Sadly, deadlines prevented me from completing this to the quality I would have liked. But, being nearly at the end of my first year, I'll take a pass-mark for sub-par work.

Been a while. Nearly done first year of my HND. So far, the only prop they've allowed us to finish was our Scottish heritage prop.

Mine was deemed "exactly what we should have expected."
