Personality: Aki would appear emotionless at first glance, his inner being seemingly locked away behind an iron curtain, his facade never contorting, remaining the same. Though this would seem the case, it is only an exterior shielding a network of complex thoughts, hopes, and dreams. Aki, never being the talkative type only holds a deep conversation with those he feels closes to, and that is not many.
Appearance: Aki is about 5’9” built relatively lithe. He exercises very little and spends most of his time reading at a local library or looking for work. Though, he is known to practice his swordplay and arcane studies . He dons heavily brown eyes, almost smoldering black, and a mop of sable hair . His complexion is a light tan, though he gets much sun, his complexion never seems to waver.
History: Aki was brought up as an orphan, after his parents death at the age of seven. They ceased to exist after an alleged fire destroyed their farmhouse, which was little more than a shack to begin with, though he was poor formerly, he was happy with his parents. The orphanarium was a change, a monolithic one at that. There he was watched over by a cruel set of staff, as well as his pears. Some served as friends, but a great deal of them as enemies. But it was not all in vain. Though the orphanage served to be a harsh teacher, it taught well. He learned that to rely on others was to rely on nothing, it destroyed illusions that reality had created and cast away the false sense of security which covers many people. Though this portion of his life is known only to Aki and he refuses to bring it up in coversations.
To remember it would be very bitter, and he tries to forget it.
After graduating from the orphanage, he was released and provided with a small token of money, a release fund that is standard procedure to present all departing orphans with. Though it wasn’t much, he was able to rent a room at a nearby inn located in a less than desirable part of town. To this day he still dwells in his vermiculated abode, waiting for a chance to take his life back.
Skills: Aki’s magical abilities were a little over minute, possessing a little more than the average human, though with his every exposure with creatures of the Supernatural, his abilities seemed to grow. He seems to retain knowledge abnormally well, seemingly harnessing a stronger grasp of his psychic prowess as his retained knowledge builds. Over time he seems to be developing a vast array of psychokinetic abilities, such as pyrokinesis as well as telekinesis, this also allowing to create weak barriers against physical and magical damage alike which strengthen in power as he advances in his studies.
Equipment: Aki carries an aging steel katana which belonged to his now deceased father. The blade, though not exceedingly sharp, is neither not blunt either, though not strong enough to chop through a human limb it is powerful enough to penetrate under it's own weight. He has rarely used it as he prefers not to fight, but when confronted, he figures that it would be as good as any time to bathe the blade in blood, though his swordsmanship is still below average.
