Name: Ser Casimir Taryndor

Nickname/Alias:* Ser Casimir the Mongrel (never to his face), Ser Casimir the Bold, Cas

Age: 25

Race: Half-Orc

Height: 6'

Weight: 200

Occupation: Knight-Errant

Personality: Ser Casimir is brave and good as a Knight should be, but plagued with wanderlust and insecurities. Having been treated harshly or straight out ignored for so much of his life by others for the circumstances of his birth as left an indelible mark on the warrior.

History: Casimir was born in Corone to the mage-knight Ser Garrison Taryndor and his orc wife, the warrior woman Lokra Dragon's-Eye. Their marriage was one of deep love and affection, in solidarity against the prevailing mores of society. Casimir had a simple life of minor privilege as the son of a landed knight, though he dealt with a certain amount of bigotry from others due to his mixed blood. When he was ten years old, during a period of unrest in Corone, his father and mother sent him away to squire with an old friend of his father's named Ser Bryndis Adelbert. This proved fortuitous, as a short while later his father and mother were slain in a pogrom, and his father’s land taken leaving him orphaned and without an establishment. Ser Bryndis continued to maintain him as a squire, for which Casimir remains eternally grateful, and when he was old enough he was knighted.

Appearance: Cas is tall and well built, with slightly grayish green skin and pronounced tusks and pointed ears. Relatively handsome for a half-orc, nevertheless he would not pass for human at less than long distance. He has black hair, beard and mustache and fierce blue eyes.

Skills: Swordsmanship, Horsemanship, Armored fighting

Abilities:
Toughness- By virtue of his orc blood, Casimir can fight through wounds that would fell a normal human.
Knight’s Challenge- Once a day Casimir can compel an enemy to meet him in single combat by force of personality and presence.

Equipment/Weapons: Iron arming sword, iron dagger, iron lance, shield, mail, and helm.
