First ever Althanas Destiny Raid

Dirks doesn't give no fucks (also, Destiny is stupid).
Tobias has shit tier night vision and can't jump to save his life (literally).
Cards was definitely in his element, but he loves the taste of bullets.
Skie, was silent but deadly, kicking butt and taking names like a true lady.
Dissinger knew everything and lead the flock to victory.
Light got yelled at a lot for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Lye came in clutch, but didn't know what he was talking about.

I'd like to think we all had a good time. We loved each other, we hated each other, Tony hates this game, and a select few got some sweet loot. RNGeesus is a dick, but Tobes loves his new ship and Cards looks baller AF.

I had a great time! I hope we can game again! Maybe a full team of six in PvP team death match.

Not so well. We only got to the bridge. The flying sword cheese didn't work so we had to do it legit. We made the whole team across, but died when the ogres came out. After that, moral dropped, it was late, and we went to bed, lol.

Also, for the newbies, there is a destiny companion app for your phones that gives you stats, lets you transfer items in real time, and let's you read those grimoire cards you've been getting. Very interesting lore if you take the time to read it.

Nah I meant Crota. For the most part, we tend to run Kings Fall legit just because most of the "cheese" strategies I've seen are just as hard if not harder than just doing it regular. I totally skip Golgoroth's maze by blowing myself up on the second pillar tho. Ha ha ha.

SirArtemis, you should add me! My PSN is RestitutionSpork. My Titan is at 314 light. I've got a Hunter in the 290s and a Warlock in the 270s but I very rarely touch them. Hammertime is my home. I'm going to try and run hard mode tomorrow night but if that falls through (or honestly any time anyone wants to do it) I'm also game for normal.

I can run raids, the problem is that this week I work a lot, Saturday would be the earliest I could run a raid at atime that doesn't ostracize the east coasters. I am more than willing to do so however.

My schedule is rough too and honestly I expect weekdays for me to be difficult but I've never touched the new raid even on normal so I'd like to get in there and start picking up some new stronger gear and have a chance at the scout/sniper if they aren't hard mode guns. Either of them really. Skie i'll add you at some point when I'm on my ps4.

The second raid went infinitely better. We still got wrecked by Gorgons and vanishing platforms, but once we got our rhythm, we killed Atheon in two passes. Once again, Tony got all the good shit. Vision of Confluence that I've been hunting since The Vault first came out. Jerk.

It was fun and I'd totally run it again.

So, we smacked the living hell out of Crota today. We pretty much sprinted through everything, did the bridge cheese in one shot, and it only took us thirty or so minutes at the final boss! Mad props to Diss for teaching us how to do everything and being our hero when we needed him most!

For those looking for a sweet exotic weapon @ 280 light, pick up the Suros Regime from Xur this weekend. It is a solid weapon and back when Destiny first came out, it was the ONLY weapon people used in the crucible and co-op. It's only a shell of its former self, but still a valid and useful weapon.
