(A little bit of fun to hype the tournament for the competitors)

The room is packed full of eager journalists wanting to cling on to your every word about the upcoming fights in the LCC. They want to know how you feel about the matchups, the tournament in general and are looking for that killer headline to put in their morning edition. How does the press conference go? What would you say to the waiting masses? Do you play mind games with your opponents, compliment them or shy away from comment?

As if you were the head coach of a sports team, or a player, give a small press conference to the audience to let them know your thoughts!

Shinsou Vaan Osiris on their opponents:

"Drawing Flames and Christoph was probably the worst case scenario in the first round. We're up against two very talented writers, and two seasoned veterans of the site, but that being said there isn't an easy pick anywhere in the first round matchups. We just need to concentrate on our own game and make it difficult for the two of them from the start. People have said their activity track record gives us the advantage but that's a load of bollocks in my opinion. These guys are prepared for this tournament and we have to be as well. We know our strengths and we'll be looking forward to causing an upset. If we get past this round, we've got a chance."

On other matchups:

"The other match of the tournament, for me, is The Girl and the Guardian vs Unreasonable Gentlemen, and i'm honestly stumped on who to cheer for. If we get through our own round there's a certain someone i'd love to get stuck into, for sure, but I think that Storm and Rayse will edge it, though."

On his pick for the eventual winner:

"How on earth can you pick from this crop? It's an unbelievable lineup. I wouldn't be able to name names until after the first round of combat and we've seen what the activity levels are like."

</gs>Man, Shin, you beat me to it. This is basically what the Rich and Kick'em thing is, a nice break of the fourth wall, and purely for fun. I like the presser idea though, as it gets everyone more involved. Onto the presser. PS, if you get the first reference, you are my <gs id="60946621-288c-41b9-aa5d-2d5e52ab81b5" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="3c2909ff-115c-4f47-a747-7a4955f17df2" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"><gs id="dc9969a1-bebf-4b06-ab50-a31cf0b8204b" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="5d14a802-cac1-46b0-9f24-1db9746e0d9b" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">soulmate</gs></gs><gs id="a1bbe9c6-4e7c-4227-9553-06a86072840b" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="3c2909ff-115c-4f47-a747-7a4955f17df2" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"><gs id="8ce948ce-c40b-4fa4-b2db-b4b44c215807" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="5d14a802-cac1-46b0-9f24-1db9746e0d9b" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">.</gs></gs>

Logan McCloud on his mysterious absence from the LCC:

"Is it really <gs id="f0225588-6fd9-44a8-b08d-51ee88f030d4" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="7786a62f-4228-4202-b0b1-92cb0a470216" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"><gs id="26b1cd9c-9be1-4d48-9e55-d6bdfb5c65a8" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="257a0d38-2a8e-48ba-8cad-d7c91b2a6c7f" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">a</gs></gs> LCC without Logan? #DareToLogan"

Logan on the LCC teams and his dark horse pick:

"You know, I spoke with a lot of people before the LCC <gs id="44397866-d039-4dac-a326-8c1fbffeca40" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="1231b0ca-0832-45d3-82a0-4a6c3d2b3909" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"><gs id="72eed4f4-e5aa-4ec3-ad61-88cf558adddc" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="69cb5526-350d-4dba-aa5c-82a42fa210ce" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">trying</gs></gs> to feel out who was ready to compete and who just slipped in unnoticed. I think, well, I mean, there certainly are, some dark horses this go around. You have to tip your cap to The God Mother's Children for the mystery surrounding them. It isn't often we get such a prestigious tournament with unknowns entering. It has obviously happened before back with Poison and someone else, but it has been a while. They'd have to be my dark horse, for sure."

On his pick for most intriguing matchup for Round 1:

"They're all good matchups, but knowing the history between <gs id="fdb33d18-b78f-4952-a833-99f384cb302f" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="400050d2-d941-4d89-82a8-5c18bfb2491f" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"><gs id="1ebae150-0559-4b13-973e-ecfdf2089c70" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="1a9049f5-f57d-4cdf-9d94-841826614d21" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">Rayse</gs></gs> and Taische you have to say that one is going to be the most intriguing, but Ashes to Ashes against Paint-a-Wagon is really, really good, too. There may not be the same level of history there, but those are four of the absolute best competitors <gs id="ba34d8cc-dc2b-4147-8b10-bec0721c7160" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="249265f0-0297-476f-b3a5-00c044499996" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"><gs id="60dd2837-03ec-475a-add3-feb5dd2af409" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="9888c827-d7f4-4365-a225-790237749950" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">Althanas</gs></gs> has ever housed. "Look, the Lornius Corporation had to make a decision. In past LCCs there were a lot of no shows or disqualifications, and they had to figure out something. This was the decision they made, obviously, and we'll see if it works out. Storm Veritas on his matchup against Taische and Kryos:

"Look, it's really cute that the kid has entered a tournament against Rayse and I. Seriously, she's goddamned adorable. I'm not exactly sure what she plans to get done as a pre-teen. Maybe she'll distract me with a vicious slap bracelet or challenge me with a jump rope competition of some sorts. I see she even has a yo-yo now, which looks like it will be a hell of a match for Rayse turning into a f*cking ball of supersonic fire and moving around the room with the speed of a goddamned blur.

Kryos looks legit enough, I suppose. I wonder what will happen when I lift him up by controlling his own sword and swing him around like a toddler waving a flag at a parade? Yeah, should go great.

Keep my beer cold and seat warm, will you? I'll be back in ten."

Taische

There's a giggle from someone who has to stand on a couple of books to see over the podium.

"Uncle Storm is silly. I was being good the last time he saw me. I don't have to be good the next time."
