Everyone likes an adventure in one form or anther. I'm sure that we've all been on plenty within this board, however, today I'm sharing something I found back in 2005ish.

Adventure Game Studio (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/)

Games? But were a writing website I hear you say? Well, I think you should give it a look if it takes your fancy.

Honestly, its full of 2D adventure stories. I think it's great, good fun, and for those adventurous enough, you can even make your own(though it is complicated.)

So for those of you who like these sort of simple games, it's a fantastic hub for hundreds of them. (Click the "All Games List" on the right)

Maybe some of you have seen this before, and have some favourites. So please share, I've played a few in the past and after a recent conversation, found it again. Also, it all works on everything up to windows 10.

My personal Favourite series: 5 Days a Stranger. (Adventure / Horror)

It has a few that follow on from it, 7 Days a Skeptic, Trillbys Notes & 6 Days a Sacrifice.

You can find it on the AGS website, or here: 5 Days a Stranger (http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/5days/)

Maybe my personal taste of this game isn't yours, but there's a wide range to check out and play.

So, I'm gonna throw some questions out to you guys and girls.

What old adventure games do you like? Is there an old game you still go back and play, or is this sort of thing new to you?

Please share!

The 7th Guest. Awesome game, almost unheard of but so good. I'll have to show you sometime mate.

I also have annual playthroughs of Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9.

I'll have a browse of that site and see what I can find :)

The 7th Guest is one of my favorite games of all time.

Adventure games in general are awesome. Gnarl, you the best.

Old Man Stauf built a house and filled it with his toys.
Six guests came that night, their screams the only noise.
No one knows what happened next, there's no one left to say.
But if you should see Old Man Stauf, get on your knees and pray.

You know that cake puzzle was the bomb. Did you ever play the 11th Hour?

I did.

"We're having Chuck steak for dinner," says a ghost.
"How about a Chuck roast?" replied another ghost.
"Chuck him into the soup!" said the skull coming out of the soup pot.

Just so you guys are aware, 7th Guest is on Steam.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/255920/

It's cheap too :)

Also, I know it's probably over mentioned, but Myst was always a great mystery!

I already own both.

And Myst, which was the first game I bought for my wife on her Steam account.

Time to go re-download some stuff.

A few more great point and click adventures. The Moment of Silence was really, really good. It's more sci-fi than fantasy, but it's great.

And...Siberia
