You have questions, let Bard find the answers

One thing that I have encountered repeatedly on the site is the lore is rather daunting, which is somewhat true, and people often have questions about it. Given that, I have decided to create this thread for lore related questions. Thrice weekly I’ll review this thread and make attempts to answer lore related questions that people have. In some cases finding the answers might take me a while; in some cases there might be more than one answer; and there might be even cases where I can’t find an official answer, but have constructed a bit of lore related to that question.

In each case I’ll attempt to provide a location from where the answer was taken from, especially if it’s something I’ve created, but in all cases, I request your patients, as it might take me longer to reply to some questions than others.

Why?

Well because I have other things that also demand my time, and I am involved with other projects on this site. With all that said, ask away. I will be making a considered effort to answer questions

Has Alerar invented the electric guitar yet?

I can't find any in depth information on the Bladesingers. Whenever I've looked into them I always have to ask for help (not that it's a bad thing, I love talking about lore with people) I know song magic is a favorite thing of the elves, what exactly does it take for one to learn it? I know weapons like swords and arrows can be amplified with song magic, but what about instruments as weapons? Like a lute or snare drum? Also, do bladesingers take on students/ apprentices (they're pretty much Jedi to begin with :D)
