Name: Clyde Oliandar
Age: 23
Race: Human
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Green
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 145lbs
Occupation: Thief, Assassin, Sellsword
Personality: Cold and brutal, Clyde is a murderer and thief who shows no remorse. He vows allegiance to nobody but his one friend, Maximillian Cannon, for whom he would kill without question. He holds contempt for those in leadership positions, and almost as much so for those who follow them.
Appearance: Clyde is a man of average height and weight, with shaggy black hair and mesmerizing green eyes. He is taught with muscle and wiry, measuring each movement carefully at all times. He wears black cloth pants tucked into thin cloth shoes, a dark grey shirt with leather armor that is stained black. His face is in a constant scowl, his jaw firm, and he always seems to have some amount of stubble.
History: Born to a mother and father who ran a crude bandit syndicate, Clyde was destined to be nothing more than a common thief. The group traveled Corone like a nomadic tribe.
The traveling group specialized in raids, ransacking towns under nightfall and taking anything valuable from the citizens. Despite this knack for theft, the group was poor and lacked any clean food to eat. Clyde’s father was the leader of the syndicate, and beat him on an almost daily basis, seeming to revel in the pain he inflicted on the child every time he decided to cry or whine. The boy learned quickly not to air his grievances in any way.
Clyde, as a young teenager, learned the intricacies of theft and stealth, following the group on their many raids starting when he was twelve. On a particular night, he was caught by the sting of a townsman’s blade. His group abandoned him, but when the man saw the thief was just a boy, he released him, too weak to finish the job of killing him.
When the boy was fourteen, he met another young would-be thief, Maximillian Cannon, another bandit son. The two quickly became friends, despite Clyde’s inability to feel comfortable around anyone.
When he was eighteen, Clyde’s abuse at the hand of his father grew far worse. Rather than standard beatings whenever the young man was foolhardy or insubordinate, the bandit leader took to using a spiked chain wrapped about his fist. The thief recalls little of these beatings, having blocked them out as well as he can. He has many scars around his back and chest as a result.
Soon after, Maximillian left the traveling bandits, leaving Clyde alone once again. Too fearful of his father to follow his daring ally, Clyde chose not to follow.
Two years later, the camp was overrun by soldiers from Radasanth, finally catching up to the moving syndicate. Cursing her for her alleged role in revealing their location, Clyde’s father killed her in front of his very eyes, before turning his knife on his own son.
At that moment, Maximillian arrived, grabbing the young man’s arm and forcing him from the tent while Clyde’s father gave chase. They fled into the night, escaping the bandit lord. Three years have passed, and the two friends have not been separate since.
