MISSION DETAILS
Dollet has remained under Galbadia control since the initial invasion that activated the Radio Tower. With the fall of Adel and her prison, the anti-sorceress wavelength produced by her orbital prison no longer interferes with radio waves or similar wireless transmissions. Since the reformation of Galbadia after the election of President Heartily, certain factions of the G-Army have remained loyal to the sorceress's ideals. These "Loyalists" do not have the same peaceful intentions of President Heartily and have locked down the radio tower for their own pirate broadcasts. Balamb Garden, finally rooted back in its original location and repaired from its journey, has been tasked to send aide to relive Dollet of hostile occupation. As with the heroes of the Time War, Balamb has elected to use this large scale mission as a testing ground for the next generation of SeeDs.
The mission will be conducted in waves. The first wave will be naval deployment of the primary SeeD force. This will consist of seasoned veterans to break the enemy barricade. Since this tactic was used previously, defenses have been fortified. Three vessels of SeeD forces will deploy first under the cover of night. They will hit primary defense structures and eliminate a majority of the initial Galbadian forces. Once the shore has been secured, the second wave will commence.
The second wave will consist of five vessels of five candidates each. Candidates are to move into the city and eliminate any hostile occupying forces. Many of these will be injured or on the retreat from the initial strike. It is possible that the G-Army may take hostages. Civilian life takes precedence and you are to secure any hostages through whatever means. Any civilians you encounter are to be directed or lead to the nearest SeeD safehouse. As more of the city is cleared, SeeDs will occupy advantages structures as safehouses, look for the SeeD logo to identify these structures. Once the city has been secured, the final wave will commence.
The final wave will consist of three vessels. These will be medical officers and instructors. They are to provide medical assitance to any personnel injured in the operation. Civilian life takes precedence. Instructors will retrieve their assigned cadets for extraction and gather mission reports from their squadrons. Evaluations will be made and relayed to Headmaster Cid upon return. The remaining SeeD forces will move onto the radio tower and remove it from enemy occupation. This will be the enemy's base of operation and is considered highly dangerous. Only SeeD forces should be present for this operation. As they move to occupy the radio tower, Garden vessels will extract the injured that have been stabilized and any refugees without home or family. They will be given refuge in Balamb until hostilities have halted in Dollet. Once the radio tower has been secured, an extraction wave will be sent to retrieve SeeD forces.
Once the mission has been completed, Balamb Garden will be awarded their contract funds. Any surplus to operational costs are to be used to aide in reconstruction efforts. Boths SeeDs and Cadidates are able to volunteer for reconstruction and will be posted as guards for the length of the efforts. Once complete, a full withdrawal of Garden forces will commence.
