Name: Nadia Redfield
Age: 28
Race: Human
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 167 lbs.
Eye Color: Emerald green
Hair color: Rusty red
Occupation: Archivist, both for the Radasanth Grand Library and for the demon Maladim Karunungan

Personality:

The Archivist is generally considered intelligent, skittish, reserved, and demure by her colleagues, but those who know her a little better are aware that she can be very sassy and quick-witted when she's forced to come out of her shell. Despite clearly having a Type B personality, she can be counted on to step up to the forefront whenever the situation requires her to... with a little arm-tugging, of course.

Appearance:

Nadia could be best described as average all around. She's of average height and average build, if not a bit fluffy and curvy in places. Her outfit of choice, a white long-sleeved button-up shirt with black slacks and a loose vest do a good job of hiding her belly pudge. Her curly, rust-stained hair reaches halfway down her back and is usually pulled into a ponytail. A smattering of freckles cover her face, and her skin is porcelain and easily burns in the sun. A pair of black-framed glasses with thin lenses rests on the bridge of her nose.

History:

Truth be told, Nadia doesn't remember much of her own past. Not that it was traumatic or anything; it was actually very plain. She was practically raised in a bookstore by her parents, who owned one in a nicer part of Radasanth. From an early age, she was fascinated with the supernatural and the eldritch, quickly tearing through every book on those subjects that passed through her parents' shop. At the young age of 15, she landed a job at the Radasanth Grand Library; at first helping to sort and store tomes, but over time, she was allowed to help the other archivists study some of the rarer and more interesting things that showed up.

The day that she was approached by the knowledge demon Maladim Karunungan was a little on the uninteresting side as well. One of his Archivists had turned up missing--possibly ripped from this plane and dropped into a parallel universe by unknown forces--and he needed a replacement. Having kept tabs on Nadia for a while now, he figured now was as good of a time as any to contact her and bring her into the fold. Knowing her particular interests in the peculiar, he offered her the freshly-vacated position, promising her access to his infinite library in exchange for her service in researching and adding to it. Having heard whispers of Maladim and his Archive's existence, Nadia did not hesitate to take him up on his offer.

Skills:

Knowledge of the supernatural: Expert
Reading level: Expert
Ability to read and translate foreign languages: Above average
Ability to survive in the wild: Above average, despite preferring the comforts of civilization
Organization: Not that great, tbh

Abilities:

Maladim's Protection: As a necessary precaution against on-the-job hazards (and to cut down on turnover), the knowledge demon bestows all of his Archivists with special abilities. Because of this, Nadia is pretty bad at staying injured or dead. She can naturally recover from wounds, broken bones, diseases, being poisoned, and even death over the course of a few days.

Enhanced Willpower: Due to the risks she takes by researching the unknowable and staring into the abyss as a part of her job, Nadia has steeled her mind and sanity against the attacks of others. She is able to resist efforts to invade her mind twice as well as the average person.

Eldritch Blade: Nadia isn't quite sure how she came across this short dagger made of an ghostly energy, but she's glad that it has been around in times of need. The Archivist is able to call and dissipate it at will. Instead of leaving physical wounds on its victim, it tears away small bits of their memory, sanity, and soul. Against player characters, the severity of this effect will be agreed upon and approved by the writers involved.

Equipment/Weapons:

The Archivist's Notebook - A 76-page leather bound notebook that is kept shut with a flap and strap. Anything that is written in the notebook with be absorbed by it, disappearing from its pages and stored in an ethereal archive tied to the book spiritually upon Nadia's command. She can recall anything written in the notebook by simply opening it to a blank page and requesting the information through a telepathic link established through her ascension as Archivist.

- A set of three pens crafted from bone that can write in any condition and never run out of ink

- A travel bag with storage, changes of clothes, provisions, healing kit, and all the essentials for field work

Looks pretty good! Just figured I should let you know you forgot to rip a Madison out of the description of the notebook.
