Sara wasn't used to any areas around Althanas, but she needed somewhere to start, and she needed a weapon if she were to go on adventures. Going weaponless wouldn't be a very smart idea.

There were so many bazaars in the area, it was hard to choose just one. Each bazaar had a certain focus of a certain weapon or weapon group. She found axes, swords, maces, whips, knives, daggers, almost an infinite amount of weapons. She only wanted one weapon, the one that she was most experienced in...the bow and arrow.

She kept walking down the rubbled path, trying to avoid eye contact to all these strangers that she wasn't used to yet. Once in awhile, she caught some people gawking over her looks, so she picked up her pace.

Looking almost endlessly, she finally found a bazaar that seemed to have exactly what she was looking for, even the name fit what she wanted...

The Bow and the Arrow
No weapons or stealing or suffer the consequences

What an interesting sign, this seems like the perfect place!!

She opened the bazaars' heavy solid oak wooded door, that had the signed posted on it. The door made a loud creek as she entered the bazaar as a bell rung announcing her presence.

She saw a large human man behind the desk, guarding the different styles of bows and arrows.

The man was about six feet tall, and very bulky and muscular...one not to be dealt/messed with. Perhaps that's where the "suffer the consequences" comes in.

She observed all the bows and arrows, and decided on a bow...One that was at a reasonable price with the most effictiveness to it.

Taking a big breather, Sara walked up to the man and almost stuttered, yet managed to keep herself together...

"Excuse me...sir. I am interested in that wooden long bow, and a quiver with as many arrows as you can give me. How much will that be? I want to spend the least amount of money for the best quality. Do you have any suggestions for me to pick from?"

Sara awaited his answer, anxious to get out of there as soon as possible...

Hope I did this right, never bought anything before.

"Well then," the merchant said. He smilied at the girl, standing up from the wooden stool he was sitting on. There wasn't a terribly great demand for bows lately, though this particular merchant was doing better than most. It helped actually making sure that people didn't shoplift a couple arrows everytime they entered into the shop. Not that they had many places to put them. The anti-magic circle that covered the entire shop was extremly effective at stopping most of the parlor tricks used to steal merchandise.

"This bow," the merchant began, taking down a gleaming bow from a rack. For all of it's shine, it wasn't the greatest bow in the world, but very reliable for the cheap price it went for. "Would cost you 80 gold to get. And for a flat 90 gold I'll add in 10 arrows. But." The merchant paused, pointing to another bow on the wall behind him. It was of gretaer quality, though only a short bow. It couldn't pack nearly so much power as the long bow, but was cheaper, and would last longer if the girl took care of it.

"For the same 90 you can have the short bow behind me, an extra bow string and 15 arrows. Though it's up to you."

((OOC: You got it right, don't worry :D ))

"Well then...This bow..Would cost you 80 gold to get. And for a flat 90 gold I'll add in 10 arrows. But."

Sara was about to lay down her gold until the merchant pointed her to a set of a bow and arrow in the distance that she missed before, what a good and honest guy....so far

"For the same 90 you can have the short bow behind me, an extra bow string and 15 arrows. Though it's up to you."

Sara thought about it for awhile, and looked at both bows thinking of the pros and cons of both...so she decided to pose a deal.

"I'll take the short bow, and I'll give you 75 for it and for 20 arrows. Is it a deal, or would you like to bargain a little bit more?"

Sara winked and smiled at the man, trying to get a better deal for what the bow was worth. She wasn't stupid, she knew the bow cost was twice as much as it was actually worth.

Bargaining will save you money, and lots of it!!

"85 gold," the man said aloud, his tone of voice saying that the price was final. Most of the time he didn't really bother to inflate ghis prices much, but he often did so by a tiny amount. Mostly so he could still make a profit from his wares. He was still a man, and a man's got to eat. He turned, placing the longbow back onto its holder with the care of a father. Twenty arrows came in two bundles and were placed onto the counter, but the man held the shortbow before him, making sure not to give her the chance to steal it. "That's as low as I will go."

Sara smiling at the man, jumped up and kissed him on the cheek thanking him...

"It's a deal, and thank you for that bargain. I really appreciate it! Here is the 85 gold for the bow, extra string, and the arrows..."

Sara dug in her pocket for her little bag of gold, and then plopped it down on the table. She untied the little golden string and took out the 85 gold pieces handing them over to the man.

"There you go, you have your 85 gold pieces. May I take them with me now, or do I have to wait for them?"

If I get the weapon, does this get closed or what?

:p

Did you get bargaining people before like me?

"Just take them now, they're all yours," the merchant replied as he took the bag. He placed the bow on the table for the girl. "Anything else miss?"

((Sorry for the short reply, just tired. Anyways, 85 gold has been taken now. End it when you can, and I'mm get Cyrus to remove gold and stuff. Or now, either works.))
