List off a few of your favorite games that have come out in the past 5 years. Tell us why if you like or post pics & gifs too.

For me, I think I've taken quite the liking to Overwatch. I mean, look what they did for Halloween:

As for other games recently, I am in love with the Deus Ex Series. Check out this awesome trailer:

And lastly, I'm looking forward to the remastered Skyrim coming out.

Skyrim Remastered is going to be so great.

As for what I've been playing lately?

I picked up Paper Mario: Color Splash yesterday. Nintendo's localization team remains one of the consistently funniest in the business. Also, I don't hate the sticker system as much as I thought I was going to.

Quest of Dungeons (out on Steam and smartphones, I have it on 3DS and Wii U) is pretty neat, too.

Dragon Quest 7 is great. Long as hell--you don't even unlock the job system until 20 hours in--but still great.

I dabbled in the Overwatch Beta, but found it to be very frustrating when playing a solid team and I didn't have one. Still, super fun though. Battleborn was also very fun.

Hmm. Recent games. I too, enjoy Skyrim a ton. Got it on PC this past year and modded it out like crazy. So amazing, with all the upgraded graphics, weather, missions and the such. A ton of work, but definately worth it.

A really fun one that I have been playing lately is God Eater Resurrection. I also have the sequal, God Eater 2 Rage Burst, but I haven't finished Resurrection yet. Here is the opening:

Of course, I am most excited for Final Fantasy XV to be released at the end of November. I have been following the development of this title since it was announced in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Here is one of my favorite trailers:

And the most recent which is also fantastic from the Tokyo Game Show:

I've been playing a lot of Hearthstone recently. It is cheap, and fairly easy. I also like that it is on my phone, so I can play it whenever I have down-time, regardless of where I am.

I'm also really anxious to find out if Rockstar is coming out with a new Red Dead game.

Ahhhhh this is probably the happiest I've ever been.

I haven't owned a new console in AGES; the last one I bought was an old-timey XBox. With kids, and a work from home job, I fear it would just be the death of me.

That game makes my Rockstar itch flare like a mother, though. God, I love those freaking games.

The Witcher 3...finished it last week after 5 or so months.

Best game in a decade.

Been playing a lot of Civ V with my roommate and friends recently. Super fun. That and besiege.

Dragonball Xenoverse 2 pre-ordered for 28th October.

I am thirty years old and don't care about the rules.

Is it possible to beat the Witcher 3? It is such a massive game. I have put a ton of hours in it, nice and slow, and I still feel like I am in the beginning. I recently got to Skellige and have done several quests there. Also, expansions Mordelain?

Civ V is fantastic. Just got that too.

I've discovered every location. Completed every possible quest within my 'ethos' and playstyle. Explored all the expansions and download content. Completed all the side missions, and made a full set of Grandmaster armour and weaponry for the school I stuck with. I could still theoretically make a set for the other 6 schools, but I'm not actually sure there's enough resources in the game to sell off to pay for them...so stupid expensive!

I miss it. I miss it dearly.

Dragonball Xenoverse was good, so many childhood feels... especially when you could go back to a starting mission and one shot Krillen, over and over.

I sunk 500 hours into Warframe, my highest by far. Some of the missions were pretty awesome, smashing and grabbing everything. Nice supportive mechanics. The melee was pretty awesome too.

And of course when a routine mission suddenly spawns one of the assassins like Stalker...

Otherwise I spent a lot of time in Robocraft until the devs became money grubbing morons.

Designing robots, smashing noobs and building stupid (but oddly effective) robots.

I also forgot to mention Doom for PS4.

F*cking excellent game.

Still need to pick up Doom.

Got the Pokemon Sun/Moon demo yesterday. I'm really stoked for the full version to drop next month.

What platform do you play Warframe on, Hysteria? I have put a ton of hours in that one as well. Ever since they changed the star map, though, the difficulty doesn't seem very tough. RIP Tower IV endless missions.

I played on PC.

I haven't played in a few months. I heard they changed the star map again and made prime parts harder. I was rocking a prime ember and rhino. Nothing says 'let's end this quciky' than a boosted and energy reduced world on fire. 030)/

I've only recently aquired Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest; Sentiels of the Starry Skies. Eight out of eight, very great.
