I'm just curious...
Are people still into doing workshops? I mean, I haven't seen a whole many lately, and I think the latest one has no replies on it.
Is this something that has passed? I have a thread or two under another account and this one, that I was going to send to workshop, but it appears(at face value at least) that this is no longer of interest on the site.
So can anyone confirm if they are still doing this, or if its not worth it, because I'll just full rubic my threads if this is the case.
I believe the workshops reflect the overall activity levels. We've been sparse on people posting actively and participating in workshops. Given that assumption, feel free to submit how you feel will best provide you with the feedback you need.

There is definitely still activity on workshops. If you go back through the archive, you see that we normally get two, maybe three replies for each. It isn't an incredible number, by any stretch, but the quality of the feedback is actually fantastic. I would still encourage writers to submit threads to workshops. Since many of the people answering workshops are using the rubrics already, you are getting essentially multiple condensed/full judgments for a fraction of the cost. The rewards for workshops are also quite good, as they do not depend on scores.
Also, you are entirely able to submit your thread for more than one type of judgment. Suppose you want a workshop and a full rubric - it would cost you 7 AP, but it is an option.

I'd like to poke my head in briefly to remind everyone that you don't necessarily have to read and/or focus on the whole thread when participating in a workshop. You can focus on a single category, writing technique, or even post. AP will be awarded based on your participation, which can stem from very little to a lot. Don't be afraid to be the one poster. Every bit of feedback will help someone become a better writer.

This is important, and something that I'd like to continue to remind people.
A couple of short paragraphs about the strengths and weaknesses of one element is not only acceptable, but encouraged. Sometimes, that is just as helpful as something more complex.

Thank you. It's nice to hear(read) these comments.
I don't think I realised you could do a double submission, I might look into that!

Oddly enough we got a workshop submission today.
