The Demonkin are a race that lives in a dimension next door so to speak, their homeland unreachable by regular modes of transportation. The only way to and from it is through portals, and even then only in places of great temporal distortions, where reality is already worn thin. That is one of the reasons why Demonkin are seldom seen, their existence more a rumor than fact. Another is the fact that, when passing from one dimension into another, one must reassume their corporeal form and in doing so loses most of their powers in the process. Magic seems to be exempt of this rule as it seems universal across dimensions, but Maledoch has no noticeable affinity for magic.
Abilities:
Demonic physique - Maledoch is slightly stronger than an average human soldier despite his impressive physique.
Demonic hide - Maledoch's skin is as hard as buffalo hide
Resurrection - Given the fact that the kin is not of this world, should Maladoch be killed, his essence returns to his own dimension where he can be reborn. However, it’s a rather lengthy process and it can take up to several weeks before he can enter the real world again.
Skills
Intelligence - Unlike popular belief that the Demonkin are no more than mindless chaos and mayhem wrapped in scaly skin and horn, most of the kin are of average intelligence, with some outliers at both end of the specter as in every race. Maledoch is one of the brighter flames of the kin, able to tactically assess situations and weave intricate plans and strategies.
Combat prowess - Maledoch is quite skillful with heavy mauls, warhammers and battleaxes.
Personality:
Being amongst the second spawn of Malus, Maledoch always enjoyed a favorable status amongst the Demonkin, what with his grandsire being one of the nine sovereigns if the kin. However, the spawn were many and the competition for the favor of their sires was great. And while some of his fellow spawn relied on might alone to gain status, Maledoch’s unusually calm demeanor and focus let him maneuver through many traps set by his ilk. His wrath is slow in coming and lasting in duration. Amidst the many blazing tongues of fire that are his kin, he is the slow burning coal. He bears strong resentment for most races of Althanas due to the weaknesses they so easily succumb to.
Appearance:
Though impressive (and possibly quite horrifying) to casual observer, Maledoch is a rather average demon. His downwards-curling horns are neither particularly lengthy nor strong, his claws neither razor-sharp nor particularly dull. His anthracite scales are a stark contrast to the fiery glow of his amber eyes. He has neither wings nor a particularly menacing barbed tail.

None at the moment, since physical possessions were unable to make a transition between dimensions.
