A friend casually dropped this gem into my lap today: https://www.heroforge.com/

It is like the old Hero Machine creator, but it is in 3D and on steroids. The website is actually modelling to then 3D print, so unfortunately it doesn't have any colours. That said, you can go all out with poses, styles, items, etc etc. One bit of advice, there are 'Genres' at the top, if you only have one selected it'll cut down the items and make it easier to go through, but you might miss out on stuff.

It's a cool site. I used it a long while ago to 3D print a metal token of my level 17 dungeons and dragons character.

Kyle has a 3D printer! We could probably print your characters for you. :)

That's awesome. What materials do you have access to? I'm sure it still costs money for the materials. Also not sure how you would get the models from heroforge into your own system but that'd be epic.

Did Fenn and Varin! I tried to color them in, but that didn't turn out very well. The Varin one might make a good reference for drawing him tho. Dragon/human people are awkward to draw.

You'd need to get a file with a complete 3D model, and I don't think they give that for free (or at all). Which makes sense from a business perspective, since they are primarily selling you the actual physical model and just letting you make your own.

Also, Praise the Sun. Kind of.

Even if we can't use this program, it gives us something to do with the printer. Would be a fun concept to play around with.
