Name: Pasithea "Paz" In'wehtos
Age: 19
Race: Human (Fallien)
Hair Color: Dirty blonde
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 124
Occupation: Drug Dealer
Personality: Paz is a friendly girl, and makes an effort to get along with everyone she meets. She does, however strange it is, have a strict moral code that she expects everyone to adhere to. She considers herself and her skills to be vitally needed in Althanas.
Appearance: Tall and wraithlike, it is hard for an onlooker to believe that this girl comes from the desert. This frailty, coupled with her pale complexion make her look a bit like a ghost. Her dirty blonde hair falls in locks just past her shoulders, and she rarely keeps them pulled back away from her face. She dresses in a sleeveless white tunic that hugs her bony form and a pair of tough brown denim trousers that are littered with unexplainable stains. Her feet are clad in rope sandals, and she has a messenger style bag made of a light cloth that is tough enough to keep sand particles out and resist ripping while carrying items collectively weighing up to ten pounds.
History: One night over the Spicefields of R'uuya, a new star was born. It was said that the light was a battle between a harpy and phoenix by most. Unlike quite a few of the parables that come from the people who labor in the desert sun, this was quite true. That night, a harpy was on it's way to abduct a newborn In'wehtos girl, and she failed. Just as the monster dove towards the hovel window by which the child lay, a heavy missile plowed into it's side. With a scream of rage, she turned in the air, focusing on her attacker; a large bird. She grabbed it by one of it's beautiful golden wings and dug her claws deep within it's breast before she realized what exactly it was. The phoenix, in it's dying throes, exploded into a flame that engulfed them both. Where the flash of light had been, a star rose into the sky. As the ashes of the battle fell upon the hovel, the winds of the desert came and carried them away to mix within the sand. Here is where the truth of the story ends. The bird was reborn in the desert and began to make it's way home, though Fallien natives swear that the soul of the phoenix instead became the star, shining down to watch over the girl all her days. The truth of the star has never been guessed by any living thing on Althanas so far, and for now, we must leave it to that long ago day in the past.
She grew up normally, harvesting in the fields along with her parents and her friends, and came to know the workings of those things that lived on soil and sun. When her sixteenth birthday came along, it was time for her to either marry or take up a trade. Knowing his daughter cared more for her plants than she did for other human beings, he sent the girl to study under one of the Spiceland's greatest herbalists on the condition that she also practice etiquette at the same time. The man she came to live with went by the name of Kenesh, and no one knew his surname. He was near to the end of his years and while his memory failed him on things like the time, his address, and the proper function of the human bowel system, he imparted most of his vast knowledge onto his young pupil. She kept everything she learned written down in a small leatherbound book, and tended her studies with a fierce passion, even the etiquette. She was not a girl that went back on promises, after all.
She had intended to study with Kenesh until her 18th birthday, though that plan was cut short. After having lived with him, taking notes and assissting him with his goal of finding the ultimate medicine, he woke her early one day. "We are going into the desert before the sun rises," he told her "to find the Wailing Iris." As they walked out among the dunes in the dark, he explained what it was that they were searching for. "The Wailing Iris grows on the graves of the Arta. They shy away from it's beauty, never knowing that it can take away their pain." After tralling, avoiding the hard to see crimson areas of the desert where they could not also see a blossom, they found a grave with the edges of a vine poking from the top sand. As Kenesh lowered his lantern to try and see where the vine ended and the blossom sprouted, a twisted and dry hand burst from the sand and wrapped around the old man's wrist. Using Kenesh to pull itself out of the dirt, the Arta pulled the man down to face level and stared him right in his myopic eyes. There was a split second of a scream that ripped from Kenesh's lips and he brought the lantern around to smash into the Arta's face. Standing behind Kenesh, the girl never saw a thing, and honestly had no idea what was going on until a pair of hands shoved her away from the site and she heard a broken "Run!" from her mentor.
Terrified, she ran all the way to the old man's hut, and sat to wait on him. When he didn't return, she assumed he was dead. Taking his supplies, she set off for the Outlander's Quarters. Over the last few weeks she'd started to think that maybe medicinal purposes wasn't what the old man should have been using his knowledge on, and the death of him only served to drive the point home. In the Quarters, her first successful mix was called "scrit" and earned her some regular customers. Living a decent life there off the money she was making selling the hallucinogens, she set up a home there, not too worried about returning home.
Until the seige hit.

Flints - Fire is sometimes needed to heat mixtures
Mortar and pestle - Made of stone, these are used to grind dried herbs into powder.
Empty vials - 7
Drugs
Skrit - A mix that when snorted doubles the physical strength of the user and decreases the pain felt. Highly addictive. Induces minimal hallucination. Effects last about five minutes. Paz currently has 3 vials of this.
Spatsy - A mix that when snorted, it induces quite a bit of hallucination, and allows for enough overload of adrenaline that time seems to slow for the user, allowing them to move faster. However, it can cause heart attack and after coming down from this drug, the user will become very sleepy. It isn't quite as addictive as skrit. Effects last two minutes. Paz currently has 2 vials of this.
Glass - A glittery mix, it has no physical effects and as of yet it's psychological effects are undocumented in Paz's journal. It is addictive and she doesn't sell it as she herself is addicted to it. She has 5 vials of this. Ingredients can only be found in Fallien.
