Okay, I know that judging takes a little bit of time and I am not here to ask about when my submitted thread will be done. What I AM here to ask is, how will I be notified when it is finished? By private message? Or do I just have to check occasionally to see?

Keep checking back. Check the 'new posts' whenever you log in and you'll see it whenever it's done.

No, I mean clicking the 'new posts' link when you log in. It's on the User CP bar. It'll show every new post made since the last time you were at the site.

You will also have some EXP and (possibly) GP as opposed to the current 0/100.

Sort of. A mod judges the thread and then an admin or Cyrus comes along and adds exp and gp accordingly.
