View Full Version : Whatever Happened to Dragons Being Cute?

Bored yet again.

Witch found herself wandering through some land, in some region filled with some God damned annoying humans that thankfully she’d avoided so far.

Wasn’t life grand?

She needed to find herself a hobby, something to keep her wandering mind busy. Eternity could get rather boring when the only thing you had to look forward to was killing people. That was fun, but after a while they all screamed the same things and they all tried to somehow kill you the same manner and they always failed. There was no challenge at it. Sure, for the passed little while she’d been at The Citadel and that had entertained her, after all, some of those battles had actually been worthwhile, interesting, challenging and just downright fun. But now she needed something new and yet again she found herself aimlessly wandering.

This tree looked the same as that tree, that blade of grass was no different than the five million that had come before it. Honestly she didn’t even know if she’d been in this region of Althanas before or if it was something completely new to her. She wandered around so much she’d probably been everywhere at least once and just didn’t care to recall it.

At least she had Daegun to keep her busy.

The baby dragon was perched on her shoulder observing the surroundings as if he’d never seen a forest before. It was humorous and annoying at the same time, considering most of their time was spent in Concordia she’d think he’d be used to seeing forests. After all they all looked the same after a while. They were filled with trees and annoying birds that needed to learn when to shut the hell up and other various animals that were sometimes fun to kill.

His white and silver scales were an immense contrast to Witch. She may not have had her cloak covering her body but all of her clothing was black. There were of course a few things that stood on her, her crimson eyes, the purple markings on her face and of course the fact that her mouth was sown shut. Yeah, that one usually made people stop and stare and in the rudest ways too. You’d think humans would know when you keep their noses out of other peoples business but they could be very nosey especially when dealing with someone who clearly wasn’t human and would clearly kill them in a heartbeat.

No one ever accused humans of being smart though.

As the halfling broke through the forest, she paused at the edge of the trees and looked around her. A field stretched out for a few yards, a well-cultivated and harvested field, one that was peppered with random humans doing backbreaking labour at the moment to watch over their crops. Beyond the field was a small human settlement, it probably housed a few hundred people, yet it seemed like a well traveled area as if adventurers or other travelers passed through here frequently.

Great…

Witch weighed her options. She could cut around the village and walk through more forest and listen to more f*cking birds, or she could walk straight through the town. She hated humans but she was bored and there was always something interesting to be had in town, something that could entertain her for a few hours or perhaps longer.

Though it was a long shot she didn’t doubt it. Many of her great adventurers had been had when she’d decided to step foot into town, or Radasanth to be more exact. It was becoming a habit of hers to check out the local taverns and such to see if there was anything interesting to be had.

“I guess we’re going into town, Daegun.”

The little dragon chirped at her rather cheerfully and Witch shook her head beginning to wonder if there was something wrong with her pet. After all, she’d had him for over a year now and the little guy hadn’t grown any bigger and she well remembered the size of the parent she’d taken his egg from. Then again, she knew nothing about dragons other than the fact that they could be extremely powerful and could live for many, many years. Perhaps they grew rather slowly.

Shrugging, she began to walk into town. Some of the people working in the fields stretched their tired backs to take a look at the stranger coming into their homes, but when they waved she didn’t bother with the effort to wave back.

This better be worth my time…

"Maps suck," Leon said with a tone of certainty and malice. He looked over the exquisitely well drawn map that was on the table before him, one of the other men in the village there as well. The small town, which the inhabitants never bothered to name, as it was small and a bit out of the way, was marked on the map. A twisting snake of a river coiled near the town, with smaller arrows drawn in to indicate the lazy flow of the water.

"Well, here the problem," the man next to him said. The same man run the tavern that Leon was in right now, though Leon could count the number of people in the building on a single paw. Given the number of people he saw outside, the place was probably pretty packed when work was done. Thankfully at least, the bartender was a nice sort, and also offered the cat boy a place to sleep. It wasn't much, but there wasn't an inn in the village and the tavern was the biggest building. Not surprisingly, it was also the most frequented and served as a makeshift town hall whenever the odd occurrence called for it. "You followed this river here." His finger trailed the blue snake constricting the village. "When you should have followed the river after that, over here." His hand moved accordingly. "I can see how you got confused, though, you need a compass or something Kitty, cause I think you've been going in the wrong direction for about a day or two walk. You'd need to follow this river, upstream, until you come to this port you were talking about earlier." His hand followed the lazy river as it ambled its way across the map. "Or instead of a compass, at least know which way the sun rises and sets."

"Bah," was the only reply heard from the cat boy as he furled the map into its normal carrying case. The map, along with the small patched leather bag it currently resided in, was the first map the cat boy had ever bought. It was mostly because he was in a slight hurry to explore, and didn't truly feel like stumbling into a grove of giant spiders or some other nuscience. Despite all evidence to the contrary, things like that seemed to happen with a scary reliability, like crows to a dead animal. Not that it mattered, that was half the reason Leon liked walking everywhere rather than merely saving up and getting a horse. Still, going to Raiaera and learning some sort of flying magic wouldn't hurt. Save money in the end at the very least.

"Don't worry bout it kid, your kind are fast, you could make the trek in a day to the port if you wanted," the bartender said, smiling to him. He handed a rag to the cat boy, who took it slowly and wondering just what he had to do with it. "C'mon Kitty, you're not staying here for free. Just wipe the dust off the tables and a bit for now. There's not much else to do around her anyway."

Camella headed into town and sighed. She was pretty sure that there was no way she could find a job here, at least not one she could really get in to. The problem was that she needed someplace to hide out for a while, and this was as good a place as any, she figured. The main question was whether or not this town would accept her, after all, she was a freak of nature. There wasn't anyone in this world like her, with one or two possible exceptions. It had been a while since she had last had the time to sit down and get something to drink, so she headed straight for the bar when she got into town.

The bar was almost empty with the exception of the barkeep and a catboy, who in her mind was just an employee there. She came to this conclusion when she saw him wiping the tables down. If she was correct, catboys were also a rare breed. Perhaps she could determine how the town would treat her by the way the town treated the catboy.

Camella turned to the catboy. "Hey there, kiddo. How has life been treating you? Anybody giving you any trouble?"

Camella turned to the barkeep and put 10 gold on the table. "One beer please, and make it quick."

Max wasn’t familiar with this place of Althanas but then again he didn’t really travel much he was used the same place over and over again. So this was a welcome experience to him. He had arrived in a clearing with several humans do physical labor the kind he had done when he was a kid and hated with all of his being and wanted nothing more then to kill all this back breaking work and murder whoever came up with the idea to do physical labor.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a single being start walking through the field towards the other side. Max had no idea what this thing was doing but he looked where it was headed and looked as though it was headed to the small village just a few minutes walk from Max’s current position.

SNAP!

Max jerked behind him quickly to see what had made that sound. He saw several black figures jump behind trees almost as if they were following him. Max instantly got an idea and ran into the field cause if these things were following him there would be no place to hide in this field.

He stopped running and crouched to see who all was in this field and if they posed any threat to him at all. The only person here who could possibly pose a threat would be the feminine looking thing almost at the end of the field. She wore complete black and had what looked like a pet dragon on her shoulder. This intrigued max very much so he decided to follow her to see what was up with the dragon.

Max had started walking after this female thing that he was now intrigued by and thought that maybe she wasn’t even human at all. Just then he heard some sort of incoherent screaming. He turned around and saw a lot of bandits come running out of the forest where he just was. This was something he didn’t want to face alone so he turned and sprinted to the other side of the clearing and yelled at the bandits.

“You want me come and get me you filthy low life’s!” this didn’t go over too well with them as it mad them run towards him at an even more of an astonishing rate.

Max wasn’t too pleased with the results but at least it would save most of the laborers here. He turned around and sprinted he sprinted so fast he felt like he was going to fall down if he pushed himself any more. He ran past the female that was just walking across the field and as he ran past he told her to get moving there was something behind her.

Max had then stopped just outside the tavern and drew his great sword and got ready for a nice fight.

Hearing some kind of yelling going on behind her, Witch turned and watched as a young male human screamed at the forest then came racing by her, saying something about getting out of there because something was coming. Raising a brow, Witch turned back to the forest and watched as a group of bandits emerged from the shadows of the trees and began running towards the village. Why the human had yelled at the bandits she didn’t know and would probably never know, better yet she didn’t even want to know. Humans did the stupidest things sometimes and basically inviting a bunch of bandits to kick the shit out of you was definitely a stupid thing.

Well, this could definitely be interesting…

Weighing her options of not killing a group of humans against killing a group of humans, Witch quickly made up her mind, (really was there any question as to what she would decide?) and ran off towards the village. Why she was running, well, that was because the human bandits were kind of running at her, so it would be a good idea to get out of their way and ahead of them, that way she could just slaughter them as they came at her. Technically speaking, she could have stayed still and killed them as they approached the village, which would have been the nicer things to do since there were workers in the fields that they might kill now, but she didn’t really care about them.

Daegun spread his wings and took to the skies as she began running, his little head turning around and peering at their approaching adversaries. He made some kind of weird chirping sound that probably meant something in whatever language he spoke, but Witch really had no idea. She just shrugged and kept her eye on the little creature making sure he was keeping up with her.

It didn’t take her long to catch up to the human; he was much slower than her. The two of them came to stop outside a tavern and Witch sighed as she watched the human draw a massive sword and prepare to face them like he was some kind of heroic force to be reckoned with.

Moving towards the door of the tavern, Witch kicked it a few times knowing she had the strength to bash the wooden boards right in yet refraining from doing so. She was going to have plenty of things to destroy in a few minutes.

“Knock, knock! Anybody home? If you’re in there, your village is about to be attacked by a group of bandits, so you might want to come outside.”

The message never left her lips, they were sown shut, it couldn’t, it was cast telepathically from her mind and instead of focusing on a single mind she did a broad cast. Anyone within a good twenty feet from her would hear it. Odd thing was, a very familiar scent was coming from inside of the tavern, one she couldn’t exactly put her finger on.

There was something calming about wiping down the tables of the little dust they had accumulated since the last night. It was barely anything, and just busy work so that way the cat boy wouldn't go insane from nothing to do. It was probably his fourth or fifth time starting again to wipe the counter-tops, he hadn't been counting, when the door opened up and someone actually entered. HE could immediately tell just how much time had passed to a slight degree. The light was beginning to inch closer and closer towards the inside of the tavern. When Leon entered there were still shadows a bit in front of the building.

It was a girl, though beyond that he only looked long enough to notice the lack of tail and various other more feline and canine attributes. His own white cats ears were stuck to the side of his head instead of the human ones found on most of the population. It was a curious little quirk of his. While most of the other guys he knew want both species, Leon mostly kept to the cat girls and various other furries that he knew. Still, that didn't stop him from looking out of the corner of his eye.

"Not much," the boy replied to here, happily enough. It was the most common answer he could have probably said. The table washing and the minor ranting with the bar tender from before had taken quite a bit of his thunder that often came with rage. Still, the flash of annoyance sprang up again for a moment before settling back down. The girl went beyond him, to where the bartender was waiting, and he drew her order quickly.

The door suddenly shook, the ring handle jingling in tune with the deep hits against the door. A voice said aloud how apparently there was gonna be bandits coming. The boy sighed, looking to the bar tender for a moment. He held up his paw. "Four minutes," he said, indicating that with the number of fingers on his paw. He paused a moment, turning on a single bare foot and walking to the door. A slight tapping was heard as the claws in his feet naturally extended. He didn't need the yarn if it was just a couple bandits.

He opened the door, yawning slightly as he did so. He hadn't realized he was still sleepy, though the sight he saw woke him up in a flash. As most of his friends in mainland Corone knew, he was a big fan of the Citadel. The Citadel was place where fighters often went, Leon included. Though, in one of his more recant fights he fought probably one of the scarier people the cat boy had ever met. He won, though it was partially from blind luck.

What he didn't expect was for that same creepy vampire girl to be standing right in front of him like some sort of Jomil's witness. The cat boy stood for a moment, staring at the girl, noticing everything that struck out about her in his mind. Everything from the pale skin to the tattoos to the sewn lips. That and her felidaehomocidal tendencies. Those were bad. He stood his ground, claws already extends on ever available place. He smiled, barring his teeth and doing his best to prevent himself from snarling at the girl.

"What do you want?"

((Felidaehomocidal = act of killing a cat human being, very very roughly made =P))

Camella nodded happily. Maybe she could finally settle down here. Before she could get a chance to sip her beer though, she heard someone banging at the door, followed by a voice in her head warning her of bandits. Normally she would have thought it to be her imagination, but when the catboy said "Four minutes", she was sure she wasn't the only one who heard it.

Camella payed the bartender for the beer and dashed to the window. Her experience with bounty hunting was about to pay off, big time. She threw three of her four daggers at the heads of three seperate bandits for instant kills, turned invisible, jumped out the window, grabbed her daggers from the dead bodies, slashed the head off of another bandit, and became visible again while standing next to the creepiest woman she had ever seen. She just couldn't figure out why the mouth was sewn shut on this woman, and if it wasn't for the threat of bandits, Camella would have probably stared all day at the woman. Instead, Camella decided to ask her about it later and hope she could answer. Camella turned to face the bandits and hoped to god that they didn't get smart and try to gang up on her.

Within a few moments there were not only him and this female, which for the first time saw the wierd things all over her body, but there were also two more due to some banging on the door to his right and a few words spoken.

He didn't have time for these things the bandits were right infront of him. He made a great big swing aiming to easily cut a bandit in half if it did connect. but before his blade hit a dagger came in from the side going straight into the man's head. Max then saw several other bandits fall before another female appeared within not even ten feet of him.

"If she's an ally i'm safe if she's an enemy im f*cked." Max thought as he then sheathed his great sword and unsheathed his longsword, the sword he was most experienced in wielding and most efficient with.

"Alright people i don't care if your her to help me or what your doing just whatever you do don't get in the way of this hand" Max screamed as he charged it with Mana and started it to glow white."If you do you might end up paralzed if not worse, Just a word of caution."

Max then ran head on to the lead bandit that was atleast twenty feet from the others if he had too he would paralze them but only if he had too.

A snarl rose from somewhere deep in the recesses of Witch’s throat and escaped her slightly parted lips, parted lips revealing straight white teeth and extremely sharp fangs that she longed to sink into the flesh of the cat boy behind her. How she had not figured out the smell permeating the tavern was his she would never know, but now that he was standing behind her, Witch had to resist the urge to rip him limb and limb and bathe in his blood.

Claws extended on their own, itching to rend flesh and muscle and dip through his body as far as they could. She wanted to smell his blood in the air and she wanted to hear him cry out for mercy as she slowly killed him, but those were urges she had to control. This was not the time or the place for it, perhaps when his back was turned…

“Just looking for a little fun, boy…”

The narrowed glare of her red eyes ceased their assault of the boy as the smell of blood ripped through the air and Witch turned and watched four bandits fall seemingly by themselves. But there was a smell in the air and the person behind the assault quickly made herself known by appearing next to Witch as if she had been invisible before. It was an interesting tactic, one that she could really see coming in handy from time to time.

Watching the approaching group of bandits, Witch smirked, early morning bloodshed.

She snapped her fingers and her hands ignited into blue flames that danced over her skin and armguards without effect. Launching a fireball into the ground of bandits, Witch watched as the flames engulfed one of the wannabe criminals, screams of pain and terror torn from his lips in a sweet melody that she would never grow tired hearing. The other bandits hesitated for a fraction of a second seeing how easily she had dispatched of one of their comrades. But it was too late for hesitation; she wasn’t going to let a single one of them escape this place alive. Not because she was a do-gooder that wanted to save this place, but because she loved the smell of blood and she loved shedding it.

Reaching behind her, Witch wrapped her fingers around her daggers and pulled them from their sheathes, the flames from her hands spreading down the blades. Then without another moments thought she launched herself at the group of bandits, her quick burst movement much faster than that of a humans and almost a blur in a human’s eye. Before any of the bandits could even think about what was about to happen to them, she’d already tackled one to the ground, her daggers sticking out of his chest as he gasped for breath his pierced lungs could no longer take in. They were filling up with blood and he would slowly suffocate.

Ripping the blades from his chest, Witch growled and launched herself at her next target, her blade passing through his stomach. Flesh was easily sliced through, muscles and tendons followed and his innards began to slide out the large gash she’d made in him.

For possibly the first time in the cat boy's entire life, he was glad that bandits were attacking. If they weren't things would probably be far hairier than they currantly were. The vampire that he was staring at wasn't the average Citadel opponent. After a Citadel fight, there often wasn't much accomplished, or many bad feelings afterwords. Though, in hopefully most of the Citadel battles, the winner didn't tear out his prey's neck with his teeth. It also didn't help it wasn't the most cleanest and most pleasent of battles, and that Leon ended beating the woman rather soundly in the end. Fighting her for all the marbles however, was something he wouldn't want to do, ever.

It was probably a mized blessing that the bandits were there. But given the way four of them suddenly dropped from the beer girl's knives, they didn't seem too tough. It was always one of those things that tickled the cat boy's brain. All the nameless bandits you hear of never can do much than handle a village full of farmers. It was probably because of desperation, and the only way the truly big-name bandits could keep a comfertable living is by attacking bigger name things. Though, ever since the Bandit Brotherhood faded away, there wasn't oo many of those.

A yarn ball came to both of the boy's hands as the girl drew and enflamed her daggers. The two innocent items were easily most dangerous thing in the cat boy's small arsenral, though most others who use his magic use some oosrt of razor wire or metal coil. Then again, those people could never really get by and into just about anywhere. It was a handy thing to cary yarn. Not many people realized it was hard as copper and more dangerous than knives. Not that anyone would gues it from the way the vampire and the beer girl used their own respective sharp metal sticks.

Leon stepped back, moving a couple paces away from the fray. He smilied, this time in not to bare his teeth but out of amusment. Between the two girls and the man who was charging the brigands it looked like the cat boy wouldn't need to do much. Though, it also probably didn't help the vampire would still want to kill him after, and she was smart enough to know now would be the best time to do so. He snickered at the thought. It'd be interesting, though disasterous, to fight the girl again.

Camella looked over at the neko boy as one of the bandits came at her, suspecting incorrectly that she wasn't paying attention to the fight. One slash across the midsection followed by a slash to the neck was all it took to convince him otherwise.

Camella quickly cut the Neko off as he started to back off.

"Is something wrong?" Camella asked as she made her way to him, "I thought you were going to fight, but it almost seems like you are running away."

As Camella waited for an answer, She slew a bandit that had followed her to him.

"C'mon, you can tell me. I am pretty sure we are both rare creatures, if not outcasts, we need to stick together, at the very least. Now please, show me what you can do."

With that, Camella stood back and watched to see how the neko-kid would deal with another bandit that had broken through the line, ready to step in if he couldn't handle himself.

There were things goin on Around Max, the people that came out of the tavern had been doing well against teh bandits but there were still several more of them.

Max Reached his target and grabbed hold of the man's wrist before he could slash at Max and with little to no effort he brought his sword up and threw the man pretty much cleaving off his arm. He then planted his left foot and spun to his left round house kicking a bandit into a pile of his comrades impaling several of them on eachother's blades. Max was starting to love this swordfighting, he loved the adrenaline he got and the smell of blood.

Max brought his sword up with all his strength to hit a bandit but the bandit easily blocked sending Max's Blade flying high into the sky. right now he didn't care about his sword his life was now in danger. Max had forgotten all about his paralysis touch and he just started wailing at the man. First a knee to the man's chest then a kick to the side of the face, and then 3 full strength punches to the man's stomach followed by a full power kick to the stomach knocking him out and launching him into a tree.

Then as Max turned to Face the bandits a huge glowing white clawed foot hit the ground crushing all the bandits. Max looked up and saw a dragon.

"Oh SHIT!" Max said as he backed away then remembered he can not back down from a dragon he had his own abilities. Max made his hand glow brighter then it already was and ran up to the dragon's foot. if he succeded the dragon couldnt use his clawed foot effectivly.

Max touched the dragon's foot but as he did a shooting, searing pain flew back up his arm to his shoulder and his arm went limp. MAx screamed in pain as he stepped back and tripped over his own two feet. A grey dot appeared in the sky headed down towards him from the sky. at the last second Max turned to roll away as his sword stabbed him in his left arm (the one that wasnt paralyzed). this made a blood curtling scream of pain erupt from Max's mouth as he realized the dragon was spell immune.

the foot that Max had tried to paralize now kicked out at Max sending him flying through the air towards a cat-like boy. Max now had 3 problems, one his right arm was paralyzed for the time being, 2. his sword was stuck deep in his left arm, and 3 he now had a huge gash from where a dragon's claw had just ripped him open.

((sorry for introducing the ddragon now but from the looks of it we need to get our characters on good grounds before we advance *looks at artifex and witchblade*))

(Characters do not have to get along in order to quest together. In fact it makes the storyline more dynamic and interesting if there is a little ruffled fur between a few.)

It was the only thing she knew and it was what she did best, killing. The weak were slain by the hands of the strong so that only the best of the species survived. That was the way it worked, had always worked and would continued to do so. She would make sure of it, though if the halfling had it her way none of the human race would survive. They were such a plague upon this world and many a place could do without them. Not to mention they were so fragile, it would be a simple thing to wipe them away. One village at a time until only a cowering few remained. But the only thing the halfling had learned was that backed into a corner, humans had an amazing amount of willpower that sudden enabled them to fight for their feeble lives.

These bandits were no different, but they lacked any amount of skill to fight for themselves. They screamed and yelled, trying to intimidate their enemy but it didn’t work. She parried their sloppy attacks and cut through their flesh, leaving them to slowly bleed on the dirt beneath her feet. For that was all they were, dirt. They could never be anything better.

Suddenly, a giant foot came out of nowhere, landing upon the group of bandits and brushed their bodies into the ground. Witch, had just enough time to roll away and nearly missed being crushed herself. Growling, she looked up and ground herself staring at a legendary creature of Althanas if there ever was one, a dragon. Only this was not the same as the cute baby dragon that was her familiar. This was a full-grown monster. Not only that but at its full growth the dragon was monstrous.

Watching in abstract amusement as the male human attempted to attack the creature; Witch slowly stepped back away from the creature. She had no death wish and no reason of any kind to attempt an attack on a dragon, for precisely the reason the human was now learning. His cries of pain filled the air and under any normal circumstances the halfling would have enjoyed them. Only now her attention was more focused on the fact that there was a massive dragon in front of her!

She slowly backed away from it, growing closer and closer to the tavern yet knowing that if this creature was going to attack the village her safest route was out of here as quickly as possible. Stepping out of the way as the human was kicked towards the cat boy, the halfling carefully kept her eye on the dragon. It attacked only when provoked to, or so logic told her so far and she did not want to give it a reason to attack.

“Any one have any bright ideas?”

((Meany. Still, any discrepincies about bunnying, just PM me and they'll be changed))

Leon has seen stupid things before. He had seen harmless stupid things. These usuall involved a bet, and the loser shaving himself from head to the tip of his tail. On one memorable occasion it also involved the loser running through own stripped naked and shaved. Leon had seen stupid things done by drunk men, and these often ended with more permenet effects. He had met children who were born because of such stupid things done drunk, and he had seen permenet tatoos of embaressing things on people from one night of too much rum. However, the man he had just seen charge a dragon several dozen times his size was arguably the most stupid thing he had ever seen.

The bandits, or the last surviving ones, were running away already, their flight-or-fight instinct triggering the earlier. All of them had dropped their weapons, one of them dropped his spear near the cat boy a moment before the man who attacked the dragn began to approuch. Approuch wasn't the right word, as it was almost like he was being dragged along the ground by an invisible string towards him. Deft and sure hands picked up the spear, removing from the wounded man's path before he would hurt himself on it. He held onto the spear, if anything then for the comfort of being able to poke the dragon before stepping on him.

"Well, I'd like to hear your voice for one, speaking straight into my mind is like eating a live mouse without the tasty mouse," Leon commented to the girl. He kept his eyes on the dragon, though the creature was so large only shutting them would block it from his vision. He threw the spear to the side, just to get the unweildy weapon ot of his hands. He bite his lip, looking down and then bending down to help pick up the man who attacked the dragon. Two yarn balls come from his pockets, wrapping themselves around the mans wound and helping to stem the blood flow a little better. He removed the blade from the man's arm gingerly, noticing that he was hardly older then the cat boy. He dropped the blade, his third yarn ball wrapping and making a makeshift bandage around the gaping wound. He would die soon without a very good healer.

"Smooth mate," Leon said to the boy as he began to back away from the dragon. He glanced at the others, deciding to raise his voice. "Running won't be looked down upon, but I do need a hand here."

Camella

Camella turned around as she heard the dragon land.

"Where the fuck did that thing come from?" Camella said in fear. She had already used up her invisibility, so for the timebeing, at least, she had to rely on her other skills.

Camella ran in as fast as she could. She had to make sure that the dragon didn't attack anyone. The dragon noticed her, but for some reason it didn't attack her. It seemed to only be protecting what it deemed to be it's territory at the moment. Suddenly a human came in and attempted to attack it's foot, but the human seemed to be doing more damage to himself than to it, and the neko-boy came in and bandaged him up. Camella stopped dead, realizing that the dragon had been angered by the man and that if she didn't act fast, the man and maybe even the neko-boy would be killed. She rushed in at the dragon without thinking as only someone in her line of work could have done.

Camella turned to the two of them. "Get out of here while I distract this thing!!!!"

She slashed at the dragon, only to realize that her daggers were barely strong enough to cut it. Still, the dragon turned to her in anger so the effort was not wasted. As soon as she had it's attention, Camella started running around the dragon dodging any attacks that came her way. The instant the neko and the human got out of there, she planned on running too.
