Valentina L. Snow
12-23-06, 05:41 AM
This is a re-approval of Valentina Snow. Yes, the original. I was level eight at the time.

Name: Valentina Lumar Snow

Age: 22

Height: 6'1

Weight: 160 lbs.

Appearance: Val has fairly short black hair, parted off-center to the left. It defies logic by somehow seeming to never catch light. Red eyes that glow with hunger and lust are one of the more defining features of Ms. Snow‘s face outside of her fang-like incisors. Sharper and longer than any normal human's, they serve their purpose well.
Ample curves, long legs and a graceful stride are just a few of the most eye-catching features of her body. Valentina wears an all black ensemble that consists of several items, including a form-fitting black cotton turtleneck, a black leather skirt, which only helps cover her fishnet leggings, and black leather, mid-shin high boots. All of this is mostly covered by a black trench coat that is lined with razorblades at its bottom.
Her left arm, once normal, was replaced by the Lurenta claw (explained below), a gleaming black claw/hand that seems to be composed of pure darkness. Its tips are razor sharp, and to accommodate it, Valentina has begun rolling the left sleeve of her turtleneck and Trenchcoat up on that arm, letting it rest just where the Lurenta claw stops and flesh once again begins. Oddly, the arrival of the claw turned her full lips a shade of violet that won’t wipe free no matter how hard she tries.

Personality: Val is completely and utterly selfish save for one single person, her sister Rianna. If she’s working with or for someone, it’s to get what she wants and nothing more. Over time her mind has grown quite a bit twisted, giving her the sheer and utter rush of ecstasy that she experiences when she kills and harms others, making her much more interested in murder than sex, though both hold special places in her heart. She doesn’t hesitate to be cruel, condescending, or malicious to anybody, and will more often than not point out even the smallest of flaws on any person. Though she can dish it out, however, she cannot take it, and is still very sensitive to insults.

Weaponry/Armor:

The Lurenta Claw: Named for the woman whose very soul inhabits it, the claw Valentina’s replacement hand for the one that was so soundly severed by Renneau Aequitas. In appearance, it resembles gleaming black metal, stretching the center of her forearm down. By all rights, it is slightly similar to a thin gauntlet, simply formed from darkness, though it gleams as though it is metal (And reacts to things as though it were as well). It’s fingertips are razor sharp, and by some miracle, Valentina is able to still feel from it. It possesses no magical abilities, though were it to be destroyed, she would need but to stick it in a Shadow Portal to have it once again whole. It is currently the strength of titanium.

Additions to weaponry (level 1): Leave it to Val to gather more and more cutlery for her arsenal. Along her way she's gotten two boot sheathed knives, razors lining the bottom of her trench coat, and even blades that pop out from the tips of her boots! Will it ever end? Probably not.

Additions to weaponry (level 2): A gleaming steel scalpel, and five extra (steel) throwing knives, increasing the amount to 10.

Additions to weaponry (level 3): None

Additions to Weaponry (level 4): Valentina recently purchased her most cherished possession, Plagueblade; a titanium great knife. The blade is six feet in length and a flat is a foot and a half wide. The hilt is also a foot and a half. Resembling an extremely oversized kitchen knife, it bears two edges, one side a simply cutting area, the other serrated. Plagueblade was given it’s name due to the unmentionable things she’s done to the blade’s edges. Almost any wound, unless thoroughly cleaned will become infected rather quickly. She also was given three steel razor edged throwing discs as a prize for a battle.

Additions to Weaponry (Level 5): None

Additions to Weaponry (level 6): Lurenta Claw. Her kodachi was destroyed.

Additions to Weaponry (Level 7): Prevalida Meat hook (Dubbed Ribcatcher)

Additions to Weaponry (Level 8): None

(Updated)History: The suburbs of Blackfield were a depraved, destitute thing. Nearly lawless, and bearing a radical caste system of sorts, it was of course the perfect place for a young murderess to bloom.

Valentina was born with red eyes, which is something rather unnatural for the human race. Had she not been doomed from the start, her eyes wouldn’t have mattered, but it gave her parents that much more of a reason to hate their daughter, a mistake spawned from a night of drinking and a forced act of lust from a husband upon his unwilling wife. As she grew up, her parents kept her at school as often as possible, and when she was at home, cooped up in her room in hopes of keeping her away from them so they could drink in relative peace, quite safe from their own troubles and responsibilities. Her teachers discovered quite quickly that she was of above average intelligence, and because of this she was singled out by both the teachers and students though for very different reasons. One girl in particular made quite the game of picking on the meek and self conscious young Valentina, often convincing her friends and many others to give her as much grief as possible. Her name was Cassie Muller, and these situations she orchestrated more often than not ended in violence for the poor girl, cursing her to wear eternally cracked or broken glasses.

For quite some time, Val would return home from school, limping, bloodied, and crying, where she was immediately sent to her room where her meager meal of the evening would be delivered. This continued for years, Val‘s childhood remaining one of constant depression and fear. Fear of both her classmates and of her parents, who had also grown increasingly violent over time.

Hiding in the library one day, Valentina stumbled upon an old, worn book, appearing to be most definitely hand written. The opening paragraph is what hooked her, or rather, just the opening sentence:

‘For true power only one sacrifice is needed: the soul.’

She stole the book and rushed it home, where she read it front to back several times over. The mysterious tome spoke of many things, but one in particular caught her eye. Wendigo. A person, who, when they devour the flesh of another, absorbs their strength and knowledge into themselves, going so far as to even steal their souls. The essence of their being.

She deemed this an experiment worth attempting.

The next day at school, Valentina walked the halls, fingering the knife she’d stolen from home that she had stuffed in a belt she wore under her long blue skirt. She had one person in mind for her first attempt at supposed “true power”. Cassie Muller. As Val strode past her in the halls, and she called out “Hey, you little whore,” she just kept walking, partially to fit her plan, but in the end, because she was too scared and unconfident to say anything back. Cassie called to her, but she just kept on going, heading straight to the ladies restroom, where she hid in a stall. In fear and anxiety, she cried, unsure if she had what it took to go through with it.

She jumped when she heard it, the door being slammed open angrily. Cassie screamed in anger, and instinctively Val cringed at almost every word. Shaking and nearly to the point of hyperventilation, she snaked her hands up her skirt, trying to get the knife free. Footsteps shuffled along the broken tile floor and stopped right near hers. Only then did she notice she hadn’t locked it. It swung open and there she stood, black leather and blonde hair, a cigarette dangling from her mouth. Her blue eyes, cruel as they were, looked at her frightened face, then to her arms, both of which were fumbling under her skirt.

“That’s disgusting! Do that at home you little freak!” Cassie Muller screamed, reaching out and taking a firm hold of Valentina’s hair and yanking her from her perch upon the seat. Frantic and worried, Val pulled her skirt up entirely, though Cassie didn’t notice the knife and was instead laughing at her. The first word Valentina managed to ever speak to Cassie in years was a very simple “Goodbye” followed by a large kitchen knife jabbing into her throat as deep as possible, just barely missing the brain stem. The shock in Cassie’s eyes as she realized what happened was more than enough satisfaction for her, but as she screamed for some kind of help, only succeeding in uttering a wet gurgle of some kind, Val smiled. She hit the ground hard, tile beneath her skull cracking as the knife was knocked free from her, sending blood pouring onto the bathroom floor.

She didn’t bother doing anything besides locking the bathroom door. The hatred still burned in her blood, and she knew she’d have to strike while the iron was hot, as it were. Grabbing her knife, she hesitated only a moment to cut free a strip of her arm, looking at it with endless fascination, she swallowed her fear and took it into her mouth, finding that it did not in fact taste that bad. She cut another, and another and more still until her left arm was stripped, she then moved onward, finding that she felt voracious, as if there couldn’t ever be enough. It was not until Cassie Muller was a mess upon the floor that Val found an exit through the window and went home. The experiment was completed, so now it was time to enjoy the benefit. Her parents didn’t care that she was at school, as they were passed out on the couch. She went into her room and for some reason, fell asleep upon immediately lying down.

In the morning, Valentina knew something was different. She felt constricted by the clothes she had worn the day before, and upon looking found she in fact was. Her chest was stretching her shirt to it’s limits. When she sat up, the buttons flung off, tearing the thing wide open. Her skirt bit painfully into her hips, and when she rose, it too ripped and fell to the floor. Something was very different. She immediately ran to the only unbroken mirror in the house, a full-body one upon the door in the bathroom. She squealed in delight, for she was now gorgeous. Her arms, devoid of any muscle seemingly whatsoever, seemed more powerful, yet still very much womanly. She’d grown taller by 5 inches, and everything about her had grown as well. Especially (with much glee, she noted) her chest. There was one thing that also was there, a hunger. For more flesh, for more of everything.

This was the beginning of Valentina’s reign of terror. Her parents went first, then slowly, classes were decreasing one by one everyday. Her classmates would disappear from their homes in the night, never to be seen again. Teachers followed quickly after, and soon it had spread from the suburbs into the enormous city itself. Gang members, police officers and even the mayor’s daughter, gone without a trace. Over the span of one year Val accumulated more than 200 kills. She demanded more. More power, more blood, more pleasure. With her hunger grew her lust and with every death came even more of a rush of ecstasy. Blackfield offered nothing to her anymore.

With nothing more than dreams of power in her mind, she set off from the city, walking along the car-less freeway as though she ruled it all. Not long after she began, Blackfield’s imposing, lifeless skyscrapers vanished in the horizon and the freeway turned into dirt and dead grass. She pressed onward, and before she knew it, found herself within the dense trees of Concordia, upon the world of Althanas. Truly, Val began to wonder if Blackfield ever existed at all, for any attempt she’s had at returning was fruitless. The vast desert was gone, as was the freeway into nothingness. She had a new home now , and she could already taste the sweet flesh of those around her.

The news since the arrival:

Upon reaching Althanas, Val had met some interesting people and creatures, but none of these meant a thing, not until Renneau Aequitas came along. In a battle within the streets of her own neighborhood (Thanks to the magic of a battle arena), he defeated her, revealing to the Wendigo that she was, in fact, still the teenage girl she thought she had gotten rid of. Humiliated and defeated, Val plotted, and at last decided upon a glorious plan to ruin Renneau, the self-righteous bastard who seemed intent on redeeming her soul. She used this against him, seeking him out in the large city of Radasanthia and abusing his concern and natural lust for her gorgeous body to her own advantage. Her first night staying at the Erasmus, the bar which he seemed to run, she hired a man to kill his horse, Irony, and to appear the valiant heroine, killed him in turn. The death of his horse sent Renneau into a blind rage, in which he decided it was best to retaliate against those who had sent the man. Accidentally, she had hired someone who was in fact a rival of his, inadvertently making her plan that much more spectacular.

In the night, they slaughtered the gang of opposing ruffians, Renneau sinking into the deepest pits of violence and hatred in his acts. It was in the burning headquarters of this gang that Valentina told him of her true plan, and that he'd fallen for it all too easily. She'd made him into what he wanted to protect her from becoming, and this was her goal. She escaped that night and never returned to him, though she supposed someday, she knew their paths would cross again. For it seemed that Renneau Aequitas was permanently ingrained into her destiny, and she in his.

Returning to Underwood, Valentina had been there all of a day before meeting Alluria Lurenta and her pet girl, Lavinia Twilight. Due to the manipulative psionic abilities Alluria possessed, Valentina had become completely and totally convinced she was in love with her, and would do anything to be forever in her favor. On a quiet night, in the attempt to bring in yet another pet to the house, Valentina discovered their new target was in fact a cunning and dangerous thief, and knowing such, executed her in the streets. This drew both the attention of her brethren and the Underwood knights, all of which attacked at once, leaving the streets of Underwood bloodied and corpse-ridden. Ruining their quiet lifestyle, they were forced to flee Underwood, and eventually made their way to Banmay, a mountain town far from any large city's ills.

It was in Banmay that she had, one night in an act of lust and boredom, used Lavinia as a palette for her blades, and a tool for her sexual desires, and as she slept, in retaliation, she had attacked her, stabbing her in the side with her own kodachi. Val chased her into the town, and, upon catching her, both broke her arms, and began feasting upon them until Alluria arrived with the news that she was leaving her. Unable to take this, Valentina attacked, and beat Alluria quite savagely, forcing her to escape to the mountains once again. Val pursued, and, upon once again beating her, was forced to the ground by way of the kiss upon her neck, a tool of control Alluria had placed there upon Valentina's vehement request. She didn't know what it was for exactly until it was too late, and Alluria used it to facilitate her escape. Heartbroken, Val reacted the only way she knew, rage. Taking the wounded Lavinia, she had her healed up, and immediately began to train her in the arts of battle. Together, they would find Alluria and kill her for what she'd done to them, and would certainly do to others. Alluria would never harm another woman again. Valentina would be sure of it.

Not long after taking the girl in, they parted ways. Alluria’s trail had gone cold, and though Lavinia was quite reluctant to enter the world on her own, Valentina cruelly forced it upon her, but it would not be the last time she saw her.

Never Forgive Me, Never Forget Me:

Some time had passed since her and the bespectacled and naive Lavinia parted ways, and Valentina was made aware of a cult that sought her employ. Reluctantly she accepted, only the gift of power bringing her into the clutches of the mad leader of ‘Salvation’ Creed and his devious assistant Justice. In the reclusive mountain town of Solace, events took place in a church at the base of the mountain Solas that led to many terrible conflicts, both internal and physical.

A summoning was to occur, and not until it was too late was it discovered that Lavinia was in fact the vessel for their God to inhabit. Valentina, in her first act of mercy, took the life of Lavinia and quickly after, Creed himself. Inadvertently she ignited the spark of hatred within Lunitari Elmdor, inciting her to violently attack both her and Justice, whom she killed instantly. Utilizing the mystical power of the shadow portals, Valentina launched Lunitari into one, forcing her to reappear at the exit as though she’d been brutally beaten (A task not far from the truth, as Valentina had tortured her viciously the night before.)

An Army composed of summoned demons (Which Valentina inexplicably saw as regular people) went on a rampage under her command, the demonic beings tearing into the very people who sought to control them. Valentina and her army marched their way outside, where her nemesis, Renneau Aequitas sought to dish out the retribution everybody thought she deserved for the death of Lavinia. He, too, bore an army. Civilians of the town of Solace, all of which eager to take back what was theirs. A terrible battle ensued, embroiling the town of Solace in a battle for it’s own survival against the demonic horde. Valentina and Renneau, in the midst of this horrible fight had one of their own, appearing somewhat equally matched until he deftly sliced free her left hand at the middle of her forearm. Shocked at the inability of the wound to heal itself due to his magically imbued weaponry, she stumbled backward into a shadow portal that appeared by all rights to open itself.

Within this portal, Valentina struck a deal with the remaining essence of Alluria Lurenta, who was near to dead, but never could truly be wiped from existence. Valentina arose from this pit bearing the a claw, a gleaming black replacement hand that was comprised of the sheer willpower and hatred of Alluria, who created the thing for the sole hope of spilling Elmdor blood with it’s razor-sharp tips. Valentina turned the tides of that fight, tearing free a portion of Renneau’s face with the weapon, including his left eye before sinking her teeth into a rather meaty portion of his shoulder. What happened then was inexplicable, and Renneau’s last gift.

Valentina was struck with a sudden onslaught of guilt at the death of Lavinia at her hands and of the torment she caused the girl as she lived. She was remorseful of this one death, doomed to be tormented by the glassy blue eyes that saw her own moments before Valentina pulled the trigger. She fled, killing Renneau after flinging him through a massive stained glass window more than thirty feet from the ground. In an act of sudden insanity brought about by the onslaught of a never felt remorse, she returned to the church, killing all who stood in her path. The town of Solace was nearly annihilated, and those who survived the demonic invasion fled, leaving the corpses of both their friends and demons alike to rot in the sun, but not before putting a spell upon the surrounding woods. The army was trapped, doomed to remain in Solace for the rest of their lives.

Far beneath the ground, standing over the dreadful pit of sacrifice, Valentina cradled Lavinia’s corpse, teary-eyed and disconsolate, she became resolute of one thing needed to rectify the pain she felt: her own death. Unconcerned with her future, she flung herself into the pit, finding that immediately after she struck the ground. What was once a pit became somehow, a tunnel. Looking outward she saw the world at a sideways angle, appearing upright as though either she were walking on walls, or some demonic force still remained to perpetrate such a thing. The thought vanished however, as the malevolent red glow at the end of the tunnel appeared to be a door. She entered and found herself in a world both alien and normal to her all at the same time…

This door brought her to the very chapel that stood intimidating in the midst of her block in the suburbs of Blackfield. In this church she found a younger looking Creed, explaining to her the importance her life holds, and another factor that she found equally interesting. She shared not just a similar name, but the bloodline of a powerful evil force. She had a sister who also had left their city, a Rianna Frost, the outcome of a vicious rape perpetrated by her father, the very same demonic God he sought to reanimate on Althanas. Valentina, desperate to meet this woman, returned to the world that had become familiar to her and sought out Rianna, who was in the midst of a situation that would most certainly lead to her death had she not intervened. Upon introducing herself, Valentina explained both of their existances and their relation, the girl taking to both the fact of her inherent evil, and her new sibling with as much glee as a child beheld while opening gifts on Christmas. For the first time in her life, as she hugged her sister, tears of joy streamed down her cheeks.

Valentina had found the loving family she always wanted in Rianna, and the feeling was mutual. Althanas had not yet seen the terror the Sisters Snow would release upon it. It was not just their destiny, but simply what they wished to do. As Rianna said, “It’s just plain fun.”

Currently:

There is a rumor that Valentina has returned to Althanas, though nobody can be sure why.

Skills:

Abnormally high intelligence: One of the few skills Val possessed before having started her quest for power, she is of extremely high intelligence and otherwise mental prowess. Her skills in mathematics and other such related skills gives her the ability to calculate the angles and trajectories of objects and other things with intense speed, making her reactions that much more reliable, especially when it comes to dodging.

Superhuman capacity for pain, endurance, and strength: The Wendigo story was far from a myth, and after eating the flesh of many people Valentina has grown almost immune to pain, and what little she feels only succeeds in annoying her. Valentina's physical strength, endurance and stamina are equal to that of 10 athletic men.

Night vision: Val has the somewhat miraculous ability to see in even pitch darkness as clear as though it were day. To be considered her only true "superhuman" ability, for she had such a thing before she had even became Weendigo.

Massive Weapons Training: Valentina has invented her own style of combat to accomodate her weapon, the Great Knife, Plagueblade. Thanks mostly to the inherited strength of countless people, she is able to wield the behemoth of a weapon with as much ease as one would wield a katana. She is even capable of using it with one arm, though doing this makes the blade a tad unwieldy, and can send her off balance if she doesn’t strike her intended target.

Absorbed Skills:

Skill increase and absorbed Skills at current level (8): Along her way, Val has ingested the blood, flesh, or all of thirteen worthy subjects taking their abilities weakness free. If she happens to lose a large amount of blood, her abilities will slowly fade from her arsenal until she either consumes more or rests. They will cease to function in no particular order. They are classified by three different stages of use. Dormant, Innate, Learning, and Mastered. Obviously, a skill under the dormant class would be rather unwieldy and harder to perform, the rest are rather self explanatory.

(Power Absorbed - Person Eaten)

Fire Breath - Sougetsa Setsuna: Allows Valentina to exhale a plume of flames, the size of which is determined by how much breath is put into the attack. Mastered

Dragon Blast (Piercing Variation) - Neosaim Hyakureiki: Allows Val to fire a piercing beam of energy from her finger as though it were a gun. Dormant

Globe of Darkness - Alak Espada: Gives Valentina the ability to form a dome of complete and utter darkness 15 feet in all directions around her, effectively ruining the vision of any caught within it excluding herself. Dormant

Vampiric Healing - Kojirou: Gives Valentina the ability to heal wounds as though she were a vampire. Wounds heal under her own discretion unless it is damage that renders her unable to properly activate it. Thus, smaller cuts that she may not notice or not care about can remain. Mastered (Exception to the blood-loss problem)

Fire Immunity - Aduro'Folium: Immunity to fire's intense, scorching flames. Innate(Exception to the blood-loss problem)

Telekinesis - Lavinia Twilight: The ability to move objects with her mind up to a maximum of 200 pounds. This skill is unfocused and rather unwieldy for her. It remains Dormant

Shadow Portals - Alluria Lurenta: The ability to form the mystical shadow portals that were Alluria’s trademark. Within these Valentina is able to transport items, herself, and finds that they are a source of many other things that even she cannot fully comprehend yet. Mastered

Wings of Darkness - Kaylee Jarronson: An ethereal set of black wings forms from Valentina’s back, a violet glow accompanying them. If attacked, these wings will disappear for a short time. (Rendered Obsolete by wingless flight) Dormant

Cold Blooded - Kylin Rouge: Val now has blue, chilling blood. Cooling her body in the heat to allow her to withstand temperatures that most humans would find unbearable or even fatal. This skill only activates in high temperatures. Innate

Wingless Flight - Lunitari Elmdor II: Valentina is now able to fly effortlessly through the air at a maximum of 100 mph. This requires very little energy and is used almost solely for transportation. Mastered

Shockwave - Shiryko Benimaru: The Shockwave is a projected slash that travels about 10 feet before dissipating into nothingness. Usually used with Plagueblade, if even at all. Learning

Giant’s Strength - Gunther: Not necessarily an ability, Valentina simply absorbed the massive strength that the behemoth of a man used to wield his 10 foot long weapon. This simply attributes to her Massive Weapons Handling, making Plagueblade able to be wielded competently even with just one hand. Innate (Exception to the blood-loss problem)

Alright, first off, several details about weaponry. I need clarification on how strong the Lurenta Claw is, what are the boot knives (Lv1), throwing knives, scalpel (lv2) and throwing discs (lv4) made of.

As for skills... Her strength, endurance and stamina can’t be nearly endless, at least the strength can’t. You need to put some sort of limit on it, even if it’s a vague one. For reference sakes, Letho, who is quite a juggernaut when it comes to strength, is about 13 times stronger then an average human in his normal form and is considered quite powergamey. Dan, for example, states how much his character can lift to clarify the strength. So you need something along those lines to define her attributes a little bit. It doesn’t have to be a number, but it has to have a limit.

Other then that, everything else seems to be in order.

Looks good now. I forgot to ask you something though. Do you know the exact EXP/GP amount you had before the crash? If not, I'll approve you with 44,000 EXP points and, let's say, about 1000 GP.

Haha, yeah. No chance in hell I remember how much exp or gold I had. It's fine whatever you put me at, really.
