((hope you don’t mind the awkward format, trying to be a little unique. If you can’t figure out some specifics of my char I can list em. I plan to pick up on his story just after the battle in a solo quest, explaining how he makes it out of the situation. If you feel I should enhance upon his story or change the format just tell me))

UNIT MIA/KIA FROM

12th company, 18th sword regiment

PRIMARY REPORT OF REASON FOR BEING MIA/KIA (IF ANY GIVEN)
(FORM OF WRITTEN ACCOUNT FROM COLLEAGUE)

So as far as I know, or as any of us were really told, the Radasanthian government, or whoever is in charge there, decided to deploy the 12th company over to this village to the east. It was to put down some sort of rebel uprising that was apparently starting to pick up steam and worry the top guys over there. The place was named Brandy or something.

So we’d been marching for about three hours and were about half way to our target, moving through a small forest, when all of a sudden some loud roaring starts to break out around the middle of our column. Our platoon stopped and turned to look, and saw what had to be at least three or four hundred men charging from either of our flanks. Me and Tyrion were part of first platoon, him being assistant sergeant, so we were at the head of the column, and these rebels had come right in between second and third platoon, effectively cutting the company in half. Second platoon, directly behind us, was getting cut to ribbons by these guys, on account of the fact that they were caught not only off-guard, but in column formation without being battle ready.

Our captain immediately started ordering the men to drop their gear, steel themselves and form up facing second platoon. We took a good minute or two to get our shit in order, and in that time, second platoon looked to be about half strength, and losing ground. The captain ordered a right-shifting charge and we pulled up on seconds right hand flank, to try and contain the force that was slowly but surely lengthening the gap between second and third platoon. The fighting was all a blur, but I can tell you that it was quite a goddamn failure. The second we saw third and fourth break off in the rear of the column and start to rout from the battle into the woods, what was left of second lost it. They panicked, and made our boys scared as hell. I don’t have to tell you that we broke off and routed into the woods too. Those bastards must have chased us for a good half hour before we lost sight of them.

It was a long trek back, made longer by the exhaustion we felt from running for so long. We had no supplies save for our light armour and weapons, and the field rations we carried on our personal packs, since we dropped all our heavy gear once the fighting broke out. About fifteen minutes after we were done running, me, the sarge Tyrion and a few guys from first and second were the only people in sight. We got separated from the rest of the company I guess, and when we stopped to rest, I must have dozed off.

I came to, and the others were no where in sight. I finished the walk back to Radasanth alone, and got picked back up by the company, the routing units having just made it back around the same time as me. The sarge and the others might have continued on without me, or they might have deserted, they might even have gotten killed, but they’re one bunch of hardened bastards so I doubt he’s dead.

Tyrion and the others are out there somewhere.

SECONDARY REPORT OF REASON FOR BEING MIA/KIA
(FORM OF BATTLE REPORT FILED BY LIEUTENANT MATHIUE TOL)

12th Company
Separated into First through Fourth platoons with 40 soldiers each, headed by one captain and one assistant sergeant, the 12th company had an effective unit strength of 170 men.

The 12th was marching to the town of Breaundy, to quell a rebel force of 500+ that was gaining strength. While marching in column formation through Breundy forest, approximately 300-400 rebels composed of peasants and mercenaries, charged out of hiding on our immediate right and left flanks. First and Second platoon were separated from Third and Fourth platoon by the rebel force, and after ten minutes of intense fighting, the now understrength company broke off and routed in all directions into the forest.

Of the 170 deployed, 139 are declared “KIA” with an estimated 60+ of those declared to be “KIA” as being MIA. Among the “KIA” are:

First platoon
.............................Sergeant Tyrion “X”
Second platoon
.............................Captain Chacosance “X”
.............................Sergeant Wrawning Yalen
Fourth platoon
.............................Captain Natwet Pons

Declaration of battle outcome: decisive defeat.

SEARCH STATUS – INNACTIVE, RANK OF UNIMPORTANCE

The story and the format are fine, don't worry. But you'll have to elaborate on your skills a bit instead of just listing them. At level zero, he can be average at them at best, or slightly above average in one if others are below average. So yeah, some explanation on what exactly "intimidation" does and how good is he at "survival" is needed.

Alrighty, all fixed up, I put the skills in to just kind of show that the man is just your run of the mill, average military man, knows how to fight and how to command his unit, just not amazing at any of it.
