If edits are required, should I post, stating I have made them?

Edit: Forgot to state the magnitude of his Mundane condition.

Name: Indrid Cold
Age: 20
Race: Human (Mundane)
Hair Color: Uniform Gray
Eye Color: Silver
Height: 6’ 0”
Weight:128lbs
Occupation: Assassin

Personality: Indrid is of the quiet sort at most times, preferring to watch and listen to others. This is done for multiple reasons. In hostile situations it tends to reduce the chance of conflict and allows Indrid to get a sense of his opponents if they chose to attack. In a normal social setting, he considers it being polite, as most of the people he encounters like to talk more than he does. Nevertheless, he will not shy from conversation for silence’s sake. If someone says something he disagrees with he will speak up if he thinks there is something to be gained from speaking, or if it’s important enough. He is a very compassionate person in general, not the sociopath you would expect from an assassin. He is able to sleep at night because he justifies what he does in his mind by finding the faults in an enemy and concentrating on them. He is often disinclined to combat but won’t avoid it if it comes along.

Appearance: Possessing only slightly above average height, he doesn’t immediately stand out in a crowd. However, Indrid’s bearing is one of calm assurance. He walks steadily and with purpose. His light, fit build is one from healthy privation, and frequent exercise is evident from his lean, hard muscle. His skin is milky pale from staying indoors more often than out, but it is smooth and healthy from a good diet.
His face may be mistaken for being somewhat plain, but a second glance would reveal features that make women swoon. Lacking a razor, it is lucky for Indrid that he has never had the need, as he does not have any body hair. What hair he does have is solid gray instead of the more common mix of white and black specks. It only falls to about mid-neck level and is mostly straight, but the most remarkable feature it possesses are the “wings” that are formed from slanted lines over and behind his ears. These “wings” are consisted of “feathered” strands of hair, not actual feathers. That’s just the term the fashion stylist of modern times call it. The “wings” only extend about three quarters of an inch but add an air of crystalline frailty to his face. His eyes have the normal whites, the normal black pupils, but hold an extraordinary brilliance in silver. Their calm candor have oft unnerved many a foe to their unfortunate demise, and enjoy a deep wealth of knowledge and logic. One glance from those orbs and one begins to think all their secrets betrayed. His mouth, rarely blessed with the curve of a smile, is thin, almost delicate. It has regularly been the subject of many women’s dreams.
His clothing marks his trade well enough. From the tips of his toe to just under his chin, his body is swathed in black leather. When he is “on the job”, the collar is long enough that it can extend to just under his eyes. It is all mainly of one piece, though the many belts and straps that keep it bound tight against his flesh are sewn in. The suit is unique in that it was made so that there is a smooth transition between the thicker regions of leather that guard the stationary portions of his body and the soft leather found at his joints. So well made is it that Indrid repeatedly refers to the suit as his second skin. The connotations of this comment can be taken many ways, as, truthfully, no one has seen him without the suit.

History: Indrid was part of a rich merchant family in Corone, so his early years were unremarkable. Most of his time was spent doing normal infantile activities under the close observation of his older sisters and nurse. He was the first born male child of the Colds, but it was not the family’s custom to follow the practice of primogeniture. Therefore, as Indrid grew to the age of four, he began to learn generic skills and subjects in preparation for a life with little inheritance. Indrid’s ability to absorb knowledge wasn’t phenomenal but it was significantly greater than the majority of Althanas’ population. He learned quickly and soon outstripped his older siblings.

He continued his studies in this manner until the age of ten. He was asked to focus his studies. He misunderstood the question to mean, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” instead of “What are your interests?” As a result he said he wanted to learn to be an assassin. A little surprised by his forthwith response, his parents merely acquiesced and found him a tutor. Indrid always had a fascination with death and simultaneously with politics. It seemed natural to him to combine his two interests.

His parents hired the best assassin they could find, and for nine years learned from the unnamed individual. He or she always kept their identity hidden behind a white oval of a featureless porcelain mask. His or her features were equally veiled behind a tight, all-encompassing body suit. For the sake of his own peace of mind, Indrid referred to his teacher as “the Shadow”. The Shadow held a vast store of knowledge ranging from multiple weapon style masteries to alchemy and wilderness survival. Indrid, surprisingly, wanted to know only two things, finesse in the use of a saber and how to efficiently kill someone.

After nine years, the Shadow left Indrid, saying that experience would the better teacher for him now. The Shadow, however, did not depart without leaving Indrid a parting gift. Or gifts, for that matter. First, he gave him a body suit similar to his or hers own. Second, he left a parchment scroll detailing whom to speak to and where about getting an updated version of the suit when he had the funds.

Like vultures circling overhead, his parents swooped down on their son to make use of his unique skills. For close to a year, he served as their poisoned left hand to the honeyed right hand his eldest sister provided. He killed off competition to his father’s business when diplomacy and bribes proved ineffective. Through this experience he learned the ends and out of politics. As the hand, it is hard not to know how the wheel is turned when one does the turning.

He decided to forge his own path about a month ago. At first his parents where adamant about his staying to help the family business, but a little logic and few vague threats about revealing his activities to certain individuals, and his parents were more than happy to let him go. Not only that, they sent him away with a brand new blade.

Skills: Saber Fencing--through long and intensive years of training, Indrid possesses competent ability with the saber. His style involves economically quick movements that negate an opponents attack and leave them open for a quick counter-attack.

Assassination--in his training, the Shadow found that it would be more efficient to teach Indrid to spot physical weaknesses in his opponents rather than tell him where they were. Because of this, if an opponent is of a race not stereotypically found on Althanas, he will, after a period of observing how they move and act, be able to locate less obvious weak points. At the present time, it takes Indrid a few hours time to locate a few weak points. This leaves the skill useless for attacking casual enemies. It is usually reserved for powerful, marked targets.

Special Racial Condition--as a Mundane human, Indrid is afflicted or blessed, depending on your perspective, with a condition known as magophobia. This is not the fear of magic, but indicates that his presence is nonconductive to magic. In translation, any non-local magic, i.e. spells, will be have there effects reduced and possibly nullified when they are within five feet of Indrid’s body. Local spells, better known as enchantments, are not affect by his condition as they are self-reliant and based on the condition of the host object. It is to be noted that spells that are of a benevolent nature are reduced just as much as spells of a malevolent nature. At present, spells are only slightly reduced and there is the rarest possibility of being completely nullified.

Equipment: Body Suit--attributes mentioned in Appearance section. To be considered similar in strength to studded leather at points of highest thickness and normal leather at points of least thickness.

Steel Saber-- unadorned, held in a simple wood and leather sheathe. Has a simple steel cross and hand guard.

Oiled leather pack: whetstones(2)
Rations(5)-a healthy blend of dried meat, fish, non-yeast barley bread and dried vegetables; lasts one day
Water- enough to last three days
Sinew twine-three feet, made of pig intestine
Jar of herbal healing…goo?
Bandages
Scroll case-contains a variety of scrolls, including a map of Scara Brae, Corone, Raiaera, Salvar and Fallien. It also contains city maps of some of the major cities in the aforementioned regions. Some of the city maps are out of date.
Camp set--held in an oiled leather case, it contains all things necessary to make a simple tarp tent for one. It also includes a thin bedroll, wool blankets and a small pillow.

Only two minor edits are needed. He can be "competent" with saber fencing, not "more then competent".

Also, reduction of the spells is ok, but no nullified spells at level zero, sorry. We don't have specific cantrips on Althanas, so by cantrip you could consider any level zero spell, which would be unfair towards other level zero mages who literally couldn't hit you with anything. I could allow nullification if it happens rather sporadic and very seldom though.

And yes, please post here again, saying that you made the edits.
