The following statement if from King Edari'axa's loyal adviser, Schynius. Scrawled on almost very note board and spread through the land in pamphlets, they all say the same thing.

"Though the Queen's death plagues us all in these dark times, our work must begin. Cloaked shadows move like wild fire, committing their travesties wherever their feet fall. In these times, heroes must step up. Mercenaries who fight for honor, the sword, love, money, whichever fancies them the most. The seasoned warriors of Alerar have too many duties on their plate to complete everything at once, and so the throne now calls upon any who will answer. The rewards will be great; with riches beyond your wildest dreams, fame so that you will be recognized and praised anywhere in Alerar. Through Ettermire's throne you echo through eternity.

Our armies have been sent out to enforce a few new laws.

1.) All citizens of Alerar must pledge fealty to our King Edari'axa. No militia will act independently of his will; any that do will face exile at the threat of decimation.

2.) None shall carry a weapon, besides a small blade, in the streets of Ettermire, unless they have the proper pass for this. Guards are, of course, exempt.

3.) Any information about the assassins who cruelly took our Queen must be sent to Ettermire at once. We cannot let such a plot go unpunished.

The Kingdom of Alerar shall rise proudly over any challenge, and so shall any adventurer willing to join its side."

Missions

-1.
With a new cemented alliance between Alerar and Salvar, trade is kicking up. But the sea can be a dangerous place for any ship containing valuable goods. See that a few vessels are safe from Alerar's ports to Salvar's ports, and vaulable treasures will be yours. However, it may be surprising to learn that the cargo is highly explosive, so it would be wise to watch out for that.

-2.
A far more reliable trade method is under construction. Althanas' first railroad is being labored on from both sides. Salvar comes from the North, drilling through rock and metal to reach their southern neighbor. Alerar builds on vast and empty plains susceptible to harsh weather. A foreign mind of a modern sort needs to help oversee construction. As well, a body guard or two is highly recommended, in case Alerar's forces are set too thin.

-3.
Changing of the Guard.
Overlooking the sparse lights of Ettermire sits a slopping manor; home to Graf Norxi Ab'Norri. Since the death of the Queen, he's had his suspicions of Schynius and his involvement with palace intrigue. The Graf now attempts to flee Alerar after he openly accused Schynius in the palace court of involvement in the Queen's death. He attempts to reach Corone by boat, and as he packs he knows he can escape on foot. The Graf has wonderful knowledge of the terrain. He must be stopped before he leaves his manor, or right outside it. He must be killed before he leaves for Corone. The murder must look like an accident or a robbery.

It is a well known fact that Norxi's wife is a notorious drunkard and lecher. Framing her could be a good choice of action.

More Quests will follow. For now, post here if interested in any of the ones above. Alerar is changing, and that should be noted. These threads must be completed.

I was waiting until others responded to this before getting back at you. I prefer it if you have multiple people per quest. But meh, I bet you can find some.

There's a map in "Alerar, the basics"
