The bloodlust had now become him. The vampire within him had lost all control of its civilizing self, to the point where Kedx wanted nothing more but to seek and destroy anything and everything in his path. However, there was one target that the vampire wanted to see destroyed more than any other; Underwood. It would be a stiff challenge, the Peaceful Promenade was always filled with ambitious warriors and the like, and there were a substantial number of town guards. However, Kedx had made up his mind and decided that he was going to destroy everything in the place and nothing was going to stop him.

His name would soon become synonymous with death and destruction. That would be true immortality. Living forever seemed trite compared to that.

Thus, Kedx approached a shopkeeper with murder in his eyes, but a substantially fat purse. He didn't want any trouble in the bazaar, he was going to save that for Underwood.

"A chariot," he said as he plopped down a bag of gold containing nearly half of his life's savings. "Made of liviol, and make sure its protected in the back. Also, I want two of your best horses to pull it."

"Liviol is a bit expensive, same with horses," the old man began. He hefted the bag, years of living his life giving an approximation of just how much gold was in there. He smilied, realizing this man could very well pay for a good amount of it. "Well, for about 2000, you could get the two horses that'll pull for quite a while at full strain. As for that chariot, that's a bit more expensive. 4000 sounds right in my head, though I remember selling one to another customer for five thousand. All up to you on how you want it. 6000 for all of that sure."

"Thats fine," Kedx said. "WHat if the horses could breathe fire? How much extra would that be? I also want 100 bullets, fifteen bottles of vodka, twenty rags, a box of matches and a conch shell."

"Jesus Christ," the merchant said aloud. He sighed, crossing himself in the sign of his God. There were only a few he knew of who followed Jesus on Althanas, but he was sure that he was importnat. "Try next door, I don't carry any of that. As for the horses, I don't have any that can do that, only things I know of that could would be a vampire horse or something. As for a conch shell, they got one that could blow like a horn if you want next door."

Kedx nodded. "Here, take your 6000" he said irritably. "Send the horses and chariot over to the next shop when they are prepared."

Then Kedx went over next door and repeated his request. "I also want 100 bullets, fifteen bottles of vodka, twenty rags, a box of matches and a conch shell," Kedx demanded. "And I know you have all of that here..."

"300, 305. 350, 1500, your total comes to 1850 sire," as the merchant replied quickly a a quick voice as a startling beutiful girl brought out the weapon nearly a minute after the customer had ordered it.

"Superb" Kedx said. He paid the money and waited for his things.

He looked at the girl. "You wanna see the world baby?" he asked.

"I can't leave the shop sir, I'm employed here," she replied.

As she finished talking, there was a knock at the door. "Yur horses're ready."

Kedx frowned. He would have loved to eat the girl.

"Fine," he said. He turned to leave. However, he stopped for one moment before he left and turned to the shopkeeper.

"HEre is 2100 extra pecies of gold," he said. "Put it in a line of credit for a certain Leon Timyon, and let him know that Kedx Fieldeth also known as Corin Rivfader has challenged him to come to Underwood. Let him know of the line of credit."

The vampire laughed melancholy. "It'll be fun to kill that bastard when I end them all!"

With that, he gathered his things and left.

The strange cat man left, leaving with all of his stuff and a surprisingly large amoutn of gold on the table. The merchant heard as the chariot left. He told his assisstant to take the gold and send a message to whoever the hell Leon Timyon was. On any other day he would have taken the gold and simply pocketed the considerable sum. But something told him that would be a rather bad idea now. He suddenly screamed, mostly of of frustraintion.

"Aw crap, I think I just didn't something very F*$#ING bad."

((Bazaar transaction done. Yadda yadda.

6000+1850+2100 = 9950 gold taken

1750 Giold remains.))
