Kell

Kelsey Andrea Tesla
Nicknamed: Kell or Kat (she prefers Kell)
Age: 22 years
Gender: female
Race: Anthro ice leopard
Height: 5’3â€
Weight: 115 lbs
Hair color: magenta with white tips and roots
Fur color: white, light blue and dark blue spots
Eye color: one is white and the other light yellow
Appearance:
Looks:
Kell’s natural hair color is white, but she dyed it a bright magenta, however she left her tips showing and since it’s been a while, her roots are beginning to show. She keeps it at about the middle of her lower back in length. From her chin down her belly is snow white fur, while the rest is a light blue with darker blue spots. Her most notable feature is her eyes; her left eye is almost completely white from flash damage, while her right eye still holds its natural light yellow color. On her back she has dyed in a pair of magenta wings and a heart.
Jewelry: (will not sell)
In her right ear she has three gold rings along the bottom edge and a long cuff across the top edge, in her left she has two silver cuffs along the top edge and three studs in the lower edge, one ruby, emerald and blue sapphire. On her tail she has three, three inch wide silver rings that are ornately cast. On the last ring (nearest the tip of her tail), a six inch chain attaches a small gold skull to it. Around her neck she wears a black leather choker that has a one and a half inch silver cat bell on it.
She also wears a pair of silver framed, oval hexagonal red lens glasses that are kept on by a gentle spring system that holds them on by clamping onto the bridge of her muzzle.
Clothes:
On top of her head she either wears a pair of goggles or a black military officer’s cap that has a silver skull and wings insignia, though many times she wears both. She wears a tight black baby doll t-shirt that has a bloody smiley face on it that is crooked. Over that (usually where it’s a bit cold) she wears a grey military double button long coat (similar to that worn by 1940s German officers) on the right upper arm is a black and yellow radiation symbol, on the left the symbol for shock hazard (a zig zag arrow inside a circle). On the collar are five small gold chaos stars that mimic rank and she almost always keeps the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. She wears a semi tight pair of urban camouflage pants with a heavy black belt, and even though they are her size, the strings of her side tie magenta panties still show above the waist. On her feet she dons a pair of what she calls AKB’s (Ass Kickin Boots) which are a heavily built pair of leather boots, being both lace up and buckle as well as going halfway up her shin; they also have steel heel and heel to ball of the foot reinforcement. The soles are thick and have small metal grip studs along the edge (quarter inch long screw in spikes, the soles have built in sockets for them)
Personal quirks:
She is very fond of candy, especially suckers which is why she usually can be found with one in her mouth (her favorite are wild berry and blueberry). By nature she is somewhat compulsive and a little obsessive when she gets going on something she likes. If she finds something unique or complex, she enjoys studying it, taking it apart, putting it back together (she really loves mechanical things, watches, toys, guns, etc) and through such tends to develop little ideas and clockwork devices (they usually explode).
Weapons:
Shocky gloves: A pair of black leather gloves that have been modified to direct more efficiently her electricity and keep her from getting any burns on her hands. They are built with insulation and wires; there are small metal plates on the knuckles and fingertips that are wired so that the current comes from her entire hand instead of just a few points.
Armor:
None
Abilities:
Electricity: the results of mad science, she is gifted with the ability to generate up to twelve amps and somewhere around six hundred volts (remember it’s the amps that kill, not the volts) at any given time, though reaching above nine amps (enough to knock someone on their ass or even out cold) takes a bit of effort. (In common hand to hand fighting, she usually generates around six to seven amps per punch, still enough to really mess up some ones motor functions for a moment)however, the more she uses it in sucession, the more fatigued her body becomes.
Basic street fighting with a bit of Sombo: Kell has tuffled a bit with the boys, broken a few noses and even dislocated a few joints of her opponents. But other than that, she hasn’t had much real experience fighting.
Tinkering/ Inventing: due to her nature, she has spent a good amount of time messing around with things relating to science, magic, mechanics, botany, and even a bit of astrology. Through this she can “tinker†with things, sometimes improving them, sometimes messing them up (they usually explode either way) and in the rare occasions when the planets align just right and pigs fly (sometimes with the help of gnomish tension powered transportation devices, e.g. catapults) she can actually make something that works right.
Items:
Back pack: an old grey backpack that is missing a strap and has a few blood and grease stains on it. From the zippers hang an assortment of key chains (a plush moogle, a bottle opener, a tiny switchblade, a plush Cthulhu and a dull ninja star).
Contains:
Mostly junk and bits and pieces of things
A screwdriver set
Two adjustable spanners (crescent wrenches)
A monkey’s paw with only the middle finger and thumb left
extended
Hair brush
A bag of catnip
A big bag of candy (her favorite possession)
In her pockets:
A broken pewter pocket watch
A blue glass eye
A lucky gold piece
A broken flat plane storage unit
Pocket knife
A spork (spoon fork hybrid)
A lucky cabbots foot (cat rabbit hybrid thing)
Familiar:
Approximately two quarts worth of sentient green slime named Slimy Jo: a friend she made while traveling who was turned into slime by nuclear testing. It really doesn’t do much, gurgles once in a while, and she keeps it in a corked wine bottle sometimes.
History:
Not much of Kelsey’s childhood is worth talking about, she had parents that were a little over bearing, and she beat another kid up at school for taking a piece of her candy when she was five (seriously, the kid had a face only a mother could love, and she was having problems, when Kell was done with him). Her nature as a tinkerer got her into a bit of trouble with her parents as she was always taking apart things (the bearings from the wagon, an old family clock, her toys, the town windmill, etc.) It really wasn’t until she was fourteen that anything truly worth noting happened.
Some time after her fourteenth birthday (it was sometime in the summer) she packed what few things she cared enough about, left a note on the ice box and let her primal wanderlust take her away to farther lands. For a while she traveled with a group of gypsies till she arrived at the great city Gear town, home to over a million gnomes. She spent many days studying amongst their greatest inventers and countless hours amongst the great libraries of science (most of which was spent sleeping out of boredom).
After a while she realized that gnomes are really just stuffy and boring, very few of them ever made much of them selves, let alone leave their shops. Opportunity allowed her to join with a group of treasure hunting explorers as they traveled around the realm. Amongst her fellow explorers were a number of scientists, mystics and astrologers. They raided many tombs and sought many treasures, but as it was, the tendency was to not find much at all. Kell stayed with the group off and on, once in a while breaking off with one or two members to go off on some tangent of interest.
That was until a fateful night of star gazing with the group. A great thunder was heard as a fireball fell from the heavens, landing only a mile or so from them. When the group investigated the smoldering crater, what they found was not of their world, a mangle of metal and wires that emanated a strange green glow. Thus began the story of
“The Super Electric Kitty!!!â€
Through help of the local military, the group and her moved the star born object to a secure research laboratory. The group researched the curious item for months, slowly disassembling it till they came to a large metal orb that was the source of the green light, deep within the wreckage. Upon it in red paint was a hammer and sickle as well as the letters “CCCPâ€. Through rigorous tests they discovered that the glowing orb, when connected by a number of bolts that stood out of its sides could produce great amounts of electricity.
It was around that time that the military took command of the project, taking the group hostage. The group was to be used for experiments, the first few members died in the tests, but slowly they began to progress their experiments, changing some of her friends into horrible mutants and even one named Jo into a sentient pool of slime.
When it came to her turn to be tested on, there was an explosion, submitting her to horrible radiation, changing her genetics till she had the ability to willfully generate an electric current.
With her comrades dead and the military looking for anything connected to the experiments, she disappeared into the unknown lands of Salvar.
