Tor Lupinus

The world needs more brave men, regardless of their shape, size, or form.
Name: Tor Lupinus
Race: Kitsune
Gender: Male
Age: 41
Height: 6'0
Weight: 155 lbs
Hair Color: Bright red and thick, striped with early markings of gray. Proud.
Eye Color: Brown
Appearance: Tor is tall and slender, a large man-wolf amalgamation. He is bright eyed and quite-literally bushy tailed, but also quite strong for his weight. Slick-footed, his fur resembles that of a fox, as do his physical features. Born a farmer, he is often dressed in blue overalls and a simple straw hat, although he is willing to take arms when the situation deems necessary.
Personality: Tor is a bit of an anachronism. He is a simple man, although not specifically stupid. He has normal, fully functional yet not-remarkable intelligence. What is remarkable about this keen adult is his character. He is a man of morals and family, and protects his wife Caella and two children with avarice. There is no yield to his moral fiber, no room for flexibility. He will do what he feels is right, regardless of the cost.
Weapons: Tor has the arms of simple farmers – a scythe, a machete, a pitchfork. All are made of rusted iron, none spectacular. He is not typically a man prone to combat, but rather backbreaking labor. He wouldn’t have it any other way.
Armor: No soldier, his armor is merely the best gear he can wrestle together. This is typically simple – hardened, untreated leather can deflect soft shots from weak weapons and even the occasional distant arrow strike.
Skills:
Charisma – A natural leader, Tor can rally troops to his cause very quickly. His charm, his courage, and the intrinsically good nature of his intent all supplement this.
Basic Combat Skill – A veteran to simple barroom brawls and land disputes, he knows how to take and throw a punch, as well as wield fundamental weapons. With no formal training, he isn’t likely a good match against a hardened soldier, but his steadfast bravery gives him a fighting chance.
History: – Born of the Concordia Forests, Tor was raised from a good, poor family. As a boy he moved with them to the countryside, where he learned to farm. Life was simple, and life was good. He went to school on the weekends, worked during the week, and grew up with wisdom passed down from his parents. He learned to work, appreciate life, protect the things you love, and value family.
His family was the crux of his upbringing. He met and fell for the lovely Kitsune Caella while he was selling wares in the market. They moved quickly, and were married three weeks later. That was eleven years ago. His children, Tal and Kentara, are his pride and joy. The seven year old Tal has his father’s eyes, and Kentara is a three year old golden princess. Both love their father very much.
While saddened at the loss of his father only four years ago, Tor happily welcomed his mother to live with his family. One large unit, they operate quite happily for the most part. Traveling to foreign lands has put a small strain on the family, but Tor must do it to make ends meet for the betterment of his children. Tal has all the strappings for a formal education, and Kentara will be given anything she damned well pleases to have.
