Don't say that. All you need to be an artist is to have an imagination, and if you are a writer I can promise you have plenty of that! Propriety is for stuck up snobs.

I actually rather like your drawing, it reminds me of a friend of mine's style. However, the way you took the picture is a bit odd and makes me wonder if the rest of the Mime's foot is simply lost around a curve or if it went off the page.

I draw off the page all the time and what helps me is planning the edges of a picture before you draw it. Like, just make marks where you want the feet, head, and arms to end up.

I gotta admit I like how the drawings are. While they are not michalangelo, they have a sorta cartoony feel for them that I happen to love. Though, the left arm bulges a little too suddenly, but that is releitvly minor and easy to fix. Also, I like the mask. For some reason I can't draw a mask to save a kitten's life, and I respect how you managed to make one without destorying the rest of the picture.

That, and if you ever take requests I'll give one.

Yea I basically ran out of room, theres also a pic on there of three Mime designs, got no problem with ideas its the simple fact I`m not a consistent artist,I drew both the large mime and tiny mime on that one page on the same day an hour apart,I`m more a requester of things, when I write up a profile for the Carniverous Clown can`t wait to show off the fantastic image a friend did for me.

I think you were trying for a technique called Foreshortening and it pretty much gave me that impression with the Big Mime. Good job.

Don't be too worried when it comes to drawing and art - Art is an expression of Imagination and Creativity, not Similarity. A good artist can create his/her own art style while so-so artists can only recreate ones done before. (Not aimed at anyone, since I do that sometimes as well.)

Spur of the moment seems to do wonders for creativity, that I will say. ;)

Eh might as well revive this for a bit, it might not be considered real art but I do a lot better with sprites, heres a little fiddling and restyling of my original Corvus sprite to fit the RPG version.
