Name: Darin J. Mills

Alias: DJ, or Irata
Age: 19
Race: Human

Ethnicity: African American/Japanese
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Hazel
Height: 5’10
Weight: 179
Occupation: Unclassified

Personality: Darin isn’t afraid to speak his mind, not one willing to shy away or beat around the bush, he is always the first to stand up for his personal beliefs. Known mainly amongst his peers for his short temper, and arrogance, which usually lead to confrontations verbal and physical alike. Though his mouth, attitude, and short fuse often get him in trouble he isn’t that bad of a guy; often prone to showing off his abilities in a certain area if given the chance.

Appearance: Light caramel skin, accented by hazel eyes, low cut hair that is arranged naturally short and prickly. A youthful, yet mature facial structure plotted with light facial stubble around the chin, and a lithe compact musculature. As far as his attire is concerned, he wares a tight fitting cotton ribbed white sleeveless undershirt, worn above that is a DC T-shirt, and a slim fitted army fatigued hoodie. On his legs he dons a pair of baggy worn dark blue jeans; that flow into a pair of fresh sneakers. With accessories accounted for, which are a pair of worn fingerless gloves, and a one-strap backpack that is commonly averted so it hangs behind him.

History:

Darin J. Mills, born December 19,1987, to Edger and Hitomi Mills, a child that was destined for an interesting life and who was apart of a history that was written out eons ago, well only up to the part to where his life changed at least. Edger was a Novelist, and cartoonist, while Vanessa was a registered nurse and part time student.

Darin Mills was born in a separate universe on a planet currently known as Earth. With a natural affiliation to rhythm, and music, even from a young age he was often seen bobbing his head to tracks blaring from his father’s radio, or dancing to the natural rhythm that reverberated through his body (e.g. Heart beat, breathing.) As he was known in school as Beat box, or even Radio head because he always seemed to be humming a tune, or beating on a desk, which often landed him in trouble with teachers, or in spats with students for being a bit to loud. All together he was a good kid, who stayed out of trouble some of the time, but spent a lot of the time in the principals office. He never really fitted in with his peers so he was often excluded. As the years rolled by he became more accustomed to the solitude, which was soon broken by a visit to a recreational center on his 12th birthday.

There he was introduced to the fluid movement styling of a one, Vincent Virgo, as he liked to call him. Vincent was the Professor of dance, the don of leg movement, and the man of rhythm, most of all Darin’s teacher. Under Vincent, Darin was a prodigy his ability almost brought out fully in the months that were ahead. The rigorous technique training, weight lifting, and exercises sculpted Darin’s body into one fit of the knowledge that would be passed down to him. Within two years he was a well-learned practitioner of the B boy wave that swept the world, as he knew it. At the young age of 14 he devoted his life to school, and Battles with a little practice in variation, and adaptability he realized he could take over each city with himself and his crew. So with his mind set on greatness he practiced, devoting the knowledge obtained through his lessons to creating routines, and before he knew it he was surrounded by a small group of friends that could be meshed into a crew.

Within the next two years, Darin had amassed enough experience through battling, and practicing with his crew to realize his dream. They were a new crew on the main circuit for major battles, and they began sweeping city by city, which would start a very short-lived dream, a dream that should have been part of his past and should have been longer lived. (According to a section of his eon old history he was suppose to at least continue on his road for another 5 or so years, but sadly one of life’s speed bumps flung him off course, along with a bit of carelessness.) As the wins became piled up, Darin became lax so on a return trip home for some shut eye before a class in the morning, and a battle that evening he began a new story that he had no idea existed.

That evening his father was preparing for sketches for an over due art book, one that would detail the practices of other countries (E.g. Buddisim, Hinduism.) One in particular was alchemy, so with partial knowledge pulled from a recent Anime, and glances at a short story based on the devices of Alchemy Darin’s naïve father drew a transmutation circle. One that was actually meant for creation, not teleportation as the night drew on and Darin’s father finished up his last symbol his son walked through the door. Furthermore the B boy continued with his usual routine of walking on his hands through the front door, to cool down his muscles but he didn’t take into account the pencil that would be in the middle of the floor from his fathers art table, nor would he take into account the practices of his father’s pseudo alchemy – which works by the way. – All of these factors lead to Darin slipping himself right smack dab in the middle of the transmutation circle, just as it became emblazoned with the light of a thousand suns, and sucked him clean through to another universe.

Which brings us to our recent story, now we have an unconscious fully dressed earth boy in an un known land, what ever is he to do?

Combat Style/Skills:

Break Dance Mastery: Darin has no real combat experience save for street fighting; the only ability close to a fighting style in his gamut would be break dancing, which over the years he has practiced for years until mastery. Break dancing is generally unstructured and highly improvisational, allowing the incorporation of many different elements. A basic routine might include top rock, a transition into down rock, a display of one or various routines of power moves, and finally a climactic freeze or suicide.

Top rock refers to any string of steps performed from a standing position, relying upon a mixture of coordination, flexibility, style, and most importantly, rhythm. It is usually the first and foremost opening display of style, and it serves as a warm-up for transitions into more acrobatic maneuvers. In particular, up rock is a competitively oriented type of top rock consisting of foot shuffles, spins, turns, and creative movements that may mimic combat. It was developed from the "Jinga", a footwork pattern used in capoeira, which was taught to youth in African-American community centers as a method of developing self-esteem and character.

Down rock includes all footwork performed on the floor, most notably the 6-step. Down rock is normally performed with the hands and feet on the floor. In down rock, the break-dancer displays his or her proficiency with foot speed and control by performing footwork combinations. These combinations usually transition into more athletic moves known as power moves.

Power moves refer to moves that require momentum and physical power to execute. In power moves, the break-dancer relies more on upper body strength to dance, using his or her hands to do moves. Power moves include windmill, swipe, and flare. Because power moves are physically demanding, break-dancers use them as a display of upper body strength and stamina. Many moves are borrowed from gymnastics, such as the flare, and martial arts, with impressive acrobatics such as the butterfly kick.

Freezes halt all motion in a stylish pose. The more difficult freezes require the break dancer to suspend himself or herself off the ground using upper body strength, in poses such as the handstand or pike. Whereas freezing refers to a single pose, locking [4] entails sharp transitions between a series of freezes.

Physical Condition: While ample time was spent practicing, and bringing his body up to peak performance in break-dancing, Darin boosted both upper and lower body conditions to slightly past normal capabilities, which allow for longer jumping range, and running speed; while also boosting his stamina, which allows for longer running distances, and if it should come to it a longer time in combat without passing out. From maneuvering his weight on his hands and feet rapidly and frequently he is capable of dexterous movements that could be considered acrobatic, while holding fluidity in chaining movements together for an almost seamless transition.

There is also a profile on this account, one that is vastly different than the character you are creating. Is this profile posted on the wrong account or are you trying to start again fresh? If it is the latter, keep in mind that your 100 EXP bonus will be taken away.
