This is the thread where players should submit their Division brackets for the first round of the Althanaversary Tournament. A few rules about creating your bracket:
1) Players may begin creating their brackets as soon as one Division has been completely filled in the "Althanaversary Registration Thread." Bracket creation will continue until 9 P.M. E.S.T. on Wednesday, January 24th. Up until that point players may change/edit their brackets, but this thread will close at that time and all match-up submissions will be finalized.
2) Players may only submit one Division of match-ups.
3) The Division submitted need not be the player's own (although it certainly can) - a player in Division I may submit match-ups for Division III.
4) There is no campaigning for match-ups in this thread - if you want to let others know of a match-up you would personally like to see, use the "Let Me At 'Em" thread found in this forum.
5) Once the deadline for bracket creation has passed, 4 of the custom brackets will be selected. This selection will be random, and chosen from each of the four different Divisions. So, for example, if 13 brackets are created for Division I, then there's a 1/13 chance a particular bracket will be selected. If for some reason no brackets are created for a particular division, match-ups will be chosen randomly.
If there's any questions, I'd ask you to either post them here or in the "Althanaversary Information Thread."
Finally, a bit of strategy: In some cases it might be most beneficial for you to create a Divisional bracket outside of your own Division. For example, if you see that 5 or 6 higher-level Althanas characters are all crowded in one Division, it might be smarter to have them face off against one another and be eliminated in the early rounds of the tournament. On the other hand, if you see that one Division (perhaps even your own) has only 1 bracket submitted, you might want to submit to that Division and have a better chance of your match-ups being selected. In short, there's really many different ways you can approach creating your match-ups, and I invite you to talk strategy in the "Let Me At 'Em" thread, found at this link:
