Personality
A cheerful young one, that usually acts before thinking. A great sense of justice makes her accept any type of challenge and adventure; that's why her grandparent is usually behind her all the time. She acts immaturely when the situation is not of her liking. She has a good heart, and is quite intelligent even though she rarely uses her head.
Description
Renata is a girl with an agile build. She has black hair, and blue eyes that scope everything around them with curiosity. Her face is quite likeable, though you can't exactly say she's of a gorgeous beauty. She's usually dressed with blue jeans, a white top, a black shirt below the white top, a ribbon scarf, a red belt, and a pair of black boots.
History
Renata grew up hearing the stories that her grandparent used to tell; stories about great adventures, about saving innocent people, about the discovery of ancient races... The girl grew up dreaming that she would, someday, become the protagonist of one of those stories.
Her grandparent didn't tell her the truth completely, as he was, in fact, the starring character of all those stories; he was afraid his dear granddaughter would take the dangerous path of an adventurer if he told her he was one of them, too.
When Renata knew of this through an old friend of his grandparent, she convinced the old man to teach her how to become an adventurer, just like him. Her grandparent gave her a rigorous training, both physical and spiritual, hoping that this would break the girl's wish to become an adventurer.
But, much to his grandparent's chagrin, the girl endured the training, and even learned one of the old man's techniques. His grandfather then thought of a last resource to keep his little granddaughter safe from the dangerous world of adventuring: He would take her to an adventure, harsh enough to veer her away from adventuring, but safe enough to not hurt her too much. Just in case, he would accompany her to make sure she would be completely safe.
And so, her adventures began...

Wings of Light: A pair of wings made of energy that appear on Renata's back. Unlike her grandfather, Renata can't shape them in any from. She can just shape them as a pair of hands --a pair of rather clumsy hands--
Swimming: From her grandfather's training, she learned how to swim. She just has enough skill to keep afloat and travel at a low speed.
Cooking: From her grandfather’s training, she learned how to start a fire using things around her... about her real cooking skills, well, she knows that things close to a fire tend to cook... and sometimes get burnt.
