Armor: Sharpened black steel shoulder plates. Braided leather covers her forearms and legs.
Appearance: Flawlessly elegant and statuesque. Her golden eyes and gold flecked skin contrast nicely with hair that looks as if emeralds were spun out in to fine strands. Tall and slender, she normally moves as if she has all the time in the world. Abstract designs are tattooed down both arms, from shoulder to wrist, in an oddly shiny emerald ink. Owlishly round eyes in a face full of etched, delicate features give her the appearance of looking eternally young and innocent. Aishling is normally dressed in what amounts to a leather bikini.
Personality: Aloof from everything around her, she watches everything with an air of detached amusement. She’s rather cool to speak with, but the cold mask slips at the sight of a fight or battle.
Skills: Moderately learned in weapons she prefers hand to hand combat, able to easily pick up twice weight. Difficult to kill, she can heal anything short of beheading and drowning in time. Small wounds to moderate cuts heal within 20 to 30 minutes, deep cuts to a slash take up around six hours to heal. Broken bones take two full days to heal. A reattached limb takes a month to fully heal and become useful once more, the limb must be reattached within minutes for it to begin to heal. No limbs can be re-grown when cut off. Dehydration and hunger affect her like any other creature and can kill
History: Created by the goddess Danu from ideas and nature rather than born Aishling came into the world as she is now and fully aware. Along with her fellow created ‘siblings’ Aishling existed unaware of the mortal realms until, despairing of her children’s ways Danu placed them in one to exist and guide the in it in peace. Living and hiding in magic infused hollows they multiplied over time and were worshipped as gods. Three such children, now long grown, were born from Aishling.
Over the course of two thousand years in the mortal realm, Aishling, an avatar of lust and battle, delighted in causing battles and drew power from strife. Often disguising herself as a lovely maiden she roamed the countries, causing wars in her wake.
Her people lived on the edge of a civil war sparked by their racist animosities towards each other. While not the main cause, her love for fighting helped light the kindling. Causing two very different courts to appear, light and dark. Burdened with guilt Aishling retreated, choosing neither the light nor the dark court, instead hiding the shadows between them.
Slightly weary of remaining invisible to both courts Aishling stepped into the view of the light court, instantly gaining popularity with the younger members of the court. Aishling neither aided nor helped the young sidhe but whispered encouragement as the sidhe grew tired of the ruling pair. After the failed attempt to over thrown them a mere five hundred years ago, the ruling pair cast Aishling out into exile, with no hope of being called back home. To her horror Aishling found the dark court willing to let her enter, for a price. Unwilling to pay, Aishling walked away from her people and her home to wander.
