Hey, I was just seeing if any low level characters were interested in starting up a quest with this one, or my other character Ganton Reeves, who I haven't used yet.

I was thinking of just starting an open one in Scara Brae, but I couldn't think of anything so I thought I'd ask around first.

You know... There's the Mission Boards in Scara Brae for you to use as well as ones found in Corone and Alerar. However... *Looks over you from head to toe* ...I think the mission board in Scara Brae should be best. If you really don't have any idea.

I'll see how the other people respond in a bit before making any judgments, though.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have NO idea... ideas are fairly easy to come by. I'm just not used to having characters without any particular goal, and this one I wont be able to really get started with till he has some experience behind his belt... I just wanted to see if anyone would actually be interested before posting.

I was an althanas member a while ago and I had bad experiences with my threads kinda... dying.

And the questboard is full.

I'll probably use a similar principle for the McGuffin though, well... not really McGuffin hopefully... but you get the idea.

Meaning, as a professional odd-job-doer, I'll have gotten a contract and looked for people as accompaniment. If everyone's in for that.

If it works better anyone can be met along the way really, or even be on another side.

We have one other person involved now. Can I drag a commitment out of both of you or change your mind?

Well i'm a good guy so just put me on the side that isn't evil and i'll be fine. Consider me commited.

Hallo, I'm the new lass.

I'll be the magical abilities and the hard to understand accent of the group.

Hm, nother question... you guys put it to vote... A slaying, npc rescue, or item(s) retrieval? I have a few ideas where each could go, so thought I'd see if there's a preference first. (There may be some overlap)

They all have some interesting possibilities, and things may possibly get ambiguous.

Hmmm i'm a warrior and a hero, so NPC rescue and slaying works for me. No opposition to item retrieval though.

All three.

At the SAME TIME.

Heh how about all three in a nice progression way, having to retreive an item, which is found to be in the hands of a monster/warlord/bandits...then having to find an NPC talented enough to break the lock on it, good luck on it pal.

Honestly, I'd been planning something similar... but now I have to go and change it just because you said something Cor. :P Thanks a lot.

(And by honestly, I mean I may or may not be lying... rather than its more widely accepted definition.)

All three.

At the SAME TIME.

All I can say to that is BOO. YAH.

Seriously though, do y'all want much in the way of info OOC before we begin, or do you want to more "go with the flow" so to speak. I guess that would be my big question, I haven't done much here in a while.

Karuka

Oh, what fun is it when the players know anything to start off with?

And if you INSIST on giving OOC information for the players to find out up front, let us find out in a good, decent IC way...I do, after all, have a character trained as a diviner.

I don't mind I'm a flowy kinda person, I'll find out what were doing somehow.

Sok

I'm still just caught up on why I would possibly INSIST on giving you people OOC information. I mean... the point of plot twists is that I get to spring them on you. :) If there are any...

Karuka- Whenever you divine feel free to either pm me and ask, or just make something up. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with how powerfull your divining is, as I didn't read into detail what all of your runes and stuff are. But we're all flexible right? We can throw eachother a loop now and again.

I think that's the phrase I'm looking for...

Sorry, I would have posted by now, but the more I think about it the more I realize it would be nice to be part of althanas more, and coastal. So I guess other regions would work, I'm just thinking if there's anywhere better...

Vamrsh Skylare

I can't help you in that section cause I'm still way behind on reading up on the regions and such and I barely know the locations of these places.

hahahahah im with varmsh here i havent read up on anything doing with althanas regions either i get people to start threads for me or their in other regions easy for me to get to and think up of instead of changing plot lines lol

BUT YEAH on topic

ALL THREE OMEGA IS THE BEST FOR ITEM RETRIEVAL (psst... Flash step rules)

but yeah i would love for the slaying to almost kill me it would be fun lol.

Let's not all try and get ourselves killed, shall we?

I only have one mildly-useful healing spell PER DIEM.

That means once it's gone, it's gone, and if you get mortally wounded, you're screwed.
