The last thread started to get really long, so I'm starting a new one.

Continuing from the last person there plus some more I wanted to mention just because they deserve it.

Reiko is a long-time member and a constant fun to be around - whether or not it's IC or OOC, you'll never find a dull moment. ;)

Urei: Another long-time member who just has so many very original characters it starts to get hard to keep track of all of them. :D I mean that in a good way.

Atzar Kellon: Revolutionary moderator bringing more fun and kickass to the Scara Brae!

Seraphima: A person who's not afraid to have disabilities in their character. Very interesting profile and very interesting mindset. I am relly looking forward to see where this goes for you, Nya~!

If you read my solo, at the end I make a reference to the fact that Lialmont needs a new, better, unique type of weapon. That is where the sequel comes into play. You'll see, I have it all planned out. I think it might be the first of it's kind to come here to Althanas, I don't know.

Vagabond, I think, is a much better term for "wandering jack-of-all-trades" than "mercenary". I also like how he weakened his character by equipping him with a copper buckler and an iron slammer sword, instead of the classic steel that most of us uber-noobs started out with, just to make sure our beloved blades that were passed down...*goes into long, meaningless story about Nacho Libre and the fate of the universe*...weren't destroyed upon first contact with a creature that had stronger armor than we. Bassically, he's got guts.

Anyway, Elrundir seems to be an interesting character with an unusual familiar. Most people have like a rat or a raven or something as a mage's companion, but he's got a cardinal, my state bird.

Ciel is the best artist on Althanas, I'm pretty sure. Her art sure licks mine. My brother agreed with me on that point, to promptly be shoved down the stairs. Don't worry about him, though. We do that to each other all the time. Our parents are so used to it, they just say "Careful with the pictures."

Karuka amazes me, as although I am part Gaelic, I very much want to learn the language.

Reiko-sama(or is it samo?) is too kewl for discription. I sometimes wonder if she speaks Japanese. Another language I want to learn.

Lucien has times when he redeems himself. Of course, it wouldn't be Althanas without the odd jerk or two, so I'm glad he's here. :P Just kidding...Lucien rocks. He has the Japanese-speaking penis....can't believe I find that cool.

Some redhead put her boobs in my face for twenty bucks the other night, and the rest of the whole thing was amazing, so Karuka Tida is high on my list of favorite persons. Forget Letho, that guy sucks, hates freedom, and is secretly gay with young phillipino boys. Karuka's sword is, unlike the thousand other characters with swords to register each day, strictly ornamental. So, I'll have to fight her one day and crush the sword in my hand all dramatically!

I hadn't read the rune magic until you mentioned the fireball in my face, but it's certainly better than the usual "Well, I've got this one spell that'll let me light campfires, and then there's this one that makes me clean." Whoooole lot of options. But the runes remind me of a friend of mine who was pretty big into the concept of runes and what they symbolized, and I miss the guy.

But you, you and me will battle someday now. And I don't really battle anymore, except with Cyrus, to make him into a living sheath for my sword.

Karuka inspired me to go ahead and put written runic instructions on how to cast Shen's spells. I used adopted Gaelic runes(adopted meaning a good few of them are Gaelic, while others are of my own craft). Now I have a translation for anyone who wants it. Thanks Karuka :)

The only person I know of with enough mythical/mystical background to know that cryomancy and hydromancy are two different classes of magic, even if they do utilize the same element. Also the only one to use each elemental sorcery with the exception of geomancy. What's up with that? :P
