Shell was frustrated. There was noone she considered good enough to be her rival. She wanted a rival, more than anything, though. She had tried everything to get the people at the citadel to bring her a champion who was worth her time fighting. She had tried killing some of the Citadel staff as well as threatening others. Finally she gave up depending on them and started towatch out the window for a worthy opponent. But as she stared through the glass, she got an idea.

"Look, I want a fight, and I want it NOW!!!!" There was a long pause as everyone listened to Shell speak. They knew by now that when Shell was in a bad mood, heads flew. "Do you know anyone you can get a hold of that has fought a demon and lived to tell the tale?"

There were murmurs as what was left of the people who worked there began to talk.

Finally, one of them spoke up.

"I think we can get ahold of someone for you. It wasn't exactly a demon he fought, but it was pretty damn close."

"Fine, get the guy. But if this person is weak, another one of you will die." Shell said quietly. "Don't even think about skipping town, though, or I swear there will be a bloodbath."

There was something depressing about waking up in a warm comfortable bed. The cat boy stirred, clenching his eyes tight to try and block any light from hitting them. He shifted slightly and pulled the sheets up, trying to coax a few more minutes of sleep before the sun would have woken him up. The process was unnecessarily speeded along by a hand almost gently shaking the cat boy under his covers. He groaned, pulling the covers down enough so his blurry eyes could make out a roundish shape looking down on him.

"Someone wants you for a fight," the man's clear voice said, piercing into the boy's mind and bouncing around within like rubber. The boy groaned, knowing that he probably should go to the fight. He had finished one earlier, maybe a day or so before yesterday, but needed to rest under the monk's order so he stayed another day. Their magic was good, but for some reason Leon needed to stay a little bit longer.

He rolled out of bed, already changed into his cloths. He never bothered to take them off in the first place. He groaned, and followed the monk as the two left. He knew that he should have simply said no, but he also wanted to fight. At least it would wake the boy up. He was lead to a door quickly, and the cat boy entered, waving sleepily and yawning. His eyes, still slightly blurry, began to focus more. All he saw at first a bare field, though hilly and rocky in parts. He waved it off, lieing down at the top of the hill and yawning again. He sat down, eyes half open as he waited for whoever it was that wanted a fight.

Shell waited just inside the locker room. Eventually, the man came back.

"He is waiting for you over in the first room on the left." The man said to her.

"Fine!!!! You better not be joking, though. I don't want any more lame fights."

As Shell headed into the room her eyes settled on the figure laying at the top of the hill. It wasn't normally like her to keep from doing everything in her power to destroy her opponent, but this was just too easy, and besides, she didn't want to end the fight before it began.

'Still, the kid who was laying there should have had a little more respect...' Shell thought as she made her way up the hill.

When she got to the top, Shell attempted to hit what she now came to realize was the cat-boy as hard as she could with the broad side of her tailblade.

"WAKE THE FUCK UP AND FIGHT ME, WEAKLING!!!!!!!"

There was something great about slipping back into sleep again. The cat boy was warm in the room, and grass was comfertavle and soft. He barely noticed as his eyeids slowly drooped down, closing and staying shut. He borught his tail up, laying it across his eyes as his breath began to deepen and bcome more even. He didn't even notice that e was asleep when he became so. No dreams filled his head, nor was te sleep long. Getting smacked by a large sword on its flat side wakes most people up.

He cried out in pain, with the end result of a somewhat high-pitched yelp. He scampered back after, eyes barely open and only seeing a deep blur. He was sure that there was now a large, rectangular mark on his side from the sword. His eyes focused after a moment or too, and he saw his opponent. He growled at her, a low sound from the back of his throut. He was never a big fan of snakes and most anything naga related, not matter how good looking the female half might be. He pointed at her angerily, or at least an angry as his ruffled look could be. In all actuallity, he looked as lethal as a kitten trapped in yarn.

"Who the hell are you?" he demanded. There was a bitter note to his voice. It was mostly from the naga's action of awakening the cat boy, but now he was cranky, and didn't feel like trying to make a friend.

This opponent didn't seem to be taking her seriously, yet, but when he asked who she was, Shell just smirked. She had never given out her full name, but she always had wanted to, just to see the kind of reaction it got.

"My name is Shellobrawnparagenfem Galactigoszargonire Fenelitissimedifortuna, and you'd better remember it, because it is the last name you will ever hear."

Shell started slashing her opponent with her tailblade. This time with the intent to kill.

"DIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!!!!!!!" Shell yelled out as she slashed at the kid's neck three times and each of his other limbs twice. It didn't end there, though, because she refused to let up til someone died, Her next slash was to the chest, and from there Shell just started swinging randomly.

The cat boy paused as the woman's name was said, and he nearly lost his head in it. He lost track of how to say the strange demon's name partway through her first name, and instead simply decided to call her Shell. At the very least it flowed a bit better then "crazy snake lady trying to kill me" in his mind. Still, the passing thought of just how the heck she got a name that long lingered for a moment. Then again, anything with half of their body human and the rest snake probbably wouldn't be named by conventional methods.

He hopped backward, feet back pedelling quickly to avoid the first strikes of the naga's blade. It was an intersting concept to have the blade attached to her tail instead of in her hands. She had range over the cat boy at the very least. Then again, his weapons of choice were rather close. Claws had their disadvantages at times. His body twisted from side to side as he moved, dodging some of the strikes at they came. Even with his speed however the blade still cut into his flesh slightly. Nothing was vitel, and he could still move, but it hurt more than he would have liked. He slashed out with his claws several times, missing as he tried to catch the tail. He darted inward, not going for the body but instead driving a claw done and towards the snake tail.

Shell was too focused on her attacks to realize what the catboy was doing until it was too late. Her tail got hit squarely with the kid's claws, but the claws didn't go very deep into her tail before she swung her tail again and forced them out, tearing a tiny piece of her tail off along with them.

"You will have to do better than that to defeat me, kitty. I barely felt it."

Shell didn't waste any time before spreading her wings and taking to the air. In truth, she felt the pain quite a lot, but she enjoyed it, it made her feel alive.

While in the air, she flew just out of reach of the kid and let her guillotine-like blade swing downwards at her head.

"Come and get me, loser!!!"
