Seems everyone's breaking out a poetry one of these. And since I can't draw, I might as well take a crack at the wheel of abnormality and angst shit through a pen.
Shifty eyes, some people say,
are a sign of ill will and dark intent,
but sitting upon that porch all day
could leave anything with malcontent.
As dull drum comes and owners leave,
he lies in wait and peers abroad,
through sharpened fences of metal weave,
twitching for the slightest nod.
And when it comes, he lets out a roar,
charging the steps and the gate,
twisting and writhing on his own accord,
his growls filled with deepened hate.
Some say he's all bark and with no bite, just as noisy as any beehive.
But I'd bet they'd all change their tune, when they saw how he skinned that cat alive.
My attempt at a sonnet. Lets just call it "Ode to that fucking dog that lives down the street." God I hate that dog.
