Name: Soliel Reverie
Age: 18 Years Old
Race: Humans
Hair Color: Silver
Eye Color: Silver
Height: 5"3 feet
Weight: 105 lbs.

Personality: Soliel usually has a very pleasant disposition, often making friends easily and difficult to provoke. She's also very strange because she's often very absentminded and will probably ignore her surroundings until it comes to a point where she has to do something already. Soliel is not into battles and will try to avoid them as much as she can. She doesn't get into heated debates and will most likely act oblivious if the people around her are fighting, or she will try to calm them down with an out-of-place remark.

She's actually very clever, just that she doesn't see the need in deep thinking. She'd rather keep things as simple as can be. Only few things will provoke her into getting angry, and when this does happen, she usually won't voice out her feelings. Soliel also has the habit of helping others who are in need, and dislikes jerks who only think about themselves.

Appearance: Soliel is a young teenager with strangely colored hair and eyes, both of which are silver. Her silver hair is long and she usually ties it back in a braid so it doesn't get in the way, and her eyes are soft and confused. She has light skin and wears a black shirt and a matching short skirt. She wears gray leggings and leather boots and gloves. She also brings around an oversize white coat with a hood, and she usually wears it tightly around herself. Because of her silver hair, eyes and white coat, she stands out in crowds like a lost angel.

History: Soliel was born to an old merchant couple who had been waiting for a child for so long. They had wanted a boy to begin with, but seeing as their child was a girl, they settled with giving her a guy's name, Soliel. She was raised with their support, often being spoon fed about everything, and so she grew up being very independent to other people. Here, she met a girl whom she became very close with. They played together everyday until a group of men attacked their village, burning it to the ground. She saw her parents killed right before her eyes and she ran away, crying in the shadows until she reached a forest and fell from fatigue.

The next day, she awoke to find a man beside her. He told her he was a wizard and asked her about the attack, but she couldn't answer because she didn't know anything about it. The man sighed and was about to leave when she started begging him to take her along. Taking pity on her, he raised her as an apprentice. He even gave her a staff that he enchanted himself, and told her that it was named Aislinn. She grew attached to him and treated him like an older brother rather than a master, and he treated her like she was his younger sister. He was kind and she realized that he liked joking around; he often hit on other girls, but never on her. She didn't like it when he hit on girls and with hit him on the head playfully, getting resulting laughter from him.

The wizard's name was Altoucious, and she soon learned that he was a known wizard and the head of the army of the kingdom he brought her to.

She had asked a couple of times if she could come along to war, but he never let her. Soliel reasoned out that she was skilled enough, but he said that she would probably just run away like the day he met her. Dejected, she realized this was true, as she had never even been in a real battle before. Finally, when she reached the age of eighteen, he allowed her to go to battle as his right-hand. She later realized that he only allowed her to do so, just so he could protect her personally.

They went to war against a rival kingdom, and she experienced battle for the first time. She stuck to Altoucious the whole time and watched him rush to the aid of a fallen enemy. Soliel stared with silent jealousy as he set out to save the enemy from the battle, and Soliel realized that Altoucious had the habit of saving those who couldn't fight anymore. Altoucious ordered her to follow from a distance and to not reveal herself to other enemies while he set a spell on the other girl and set her afloat a river.

As the girl started to drift away, Soliel realized something and rushed out to the open. She stood beside Altoucious and stared at the girl, realizing that she looked exactly like that girl she used to play with in her village. That's when she concluded that she wasn't the only survivor from that night. Soliel told Altoucious all about this.

She can't remember much about what happened next. She heard Altoucious yell out her name, and then everything went dark. When she woke up, she was in an inn's bed with a letter from Altoucious. It told her that they were ambushed, and he managed to carry her to safety. Continued, it read, "I have nothing else to teach you, nor do you have any reason to stay with me. The reason I let you stay with me was because that girl was also nearby, and that was also the reason I let you come. Don't try to go back, because the kingdoms are now gone. Look for the girl if you want to know the truth."

For a couple of days, Soliel was depressed because she thought he had abandoned her and that he had no reason to take care of her in the first place. Finally, she realized that his suggestion was right, and she set off to find the girl from her childhood.

Skills: Soliel knows basic sorcery. She moves swift enough to avoid most attacks. Soliel knows how to fight with knives when forced into close combat, but she is not particularly very good at it.

Cyclone - She can cause the wind pressure around a certain place to strengthen, enough to cause minor wounds and to minimize movement. Can be used two times a thread.

Rain - Soliel can summon water droplets from the sky to solidify and drop to the ground at terrifying speeds, as if a hundred pebbles were hitting you from the sky. The space it would fall at would have a diameter of around ten feet. Can be used two times a thread.

Ember - A spell that emits balls of fire. Can be used for lighting objects, guidance through the dark, or giving minor burns to those who come too close. Can be used two times a thread.

Equipment:
Aislinn - A short staff which Altoucious gave to her. It has sapphire crystals for enhancing magic, and she cannot cast spells without it.

Steel Knives - Two pieces, ten inches each; can be used for close-combat.

Welcome to Althanas! Nice profile, but we'll have to make some changes.

I'd like to request that you cut one spell. Also, if you decide to keep the Rain spell, could you tell me over how much of an area it is effective?
