This is the old Ghost Hand Order information salvaged by our saviour Google. We are currently planning a transition from the old GHO to a more structured clan named The Grander's Order, so this will suffice until that has gone through smoothly.

Background/History:

With the subsequential death of The Red Dragon clan, the vanguard for the now obliterated realm of Karak, Canen quickly found that his allies were thin and far between. Many of his best legions, including the 25th Footknights, had been destroyed fighting Lord Kheala Blackheart at the Bloodied Gulch at Mt Erebus and the losses that had been suffered there had caused a severe backlash in the militeristic capabilities of the clan. Therefore the New Monarchy, with this information freely in their grasp, staged an assault that would effectively remove all influences of the clans from the realm, allowing them to rise to power without interference from "other parties". The Red Dragons stood no chance as the Monarchy descended on them without vengeance or mercy with a full scale assault on all known RD locations and outposts, and soon all physical traces of the clan had been razed to the ground, along with their allies The White Lions and many other sub-groups within the realm.

But the spirit of the clansmen continues. Canen's frustrations at the treatment of the clans by the old realm has been consumed by a desire for revenge, and in the out of the smouldering embers of The Red Dragon clan a new, more powerful order awaits its time to grow and thrive. His plan for a covert and powerful order called The Ghost Hand Order (named after the small band of partisans Gideon Xerxes led during Kheala's assault) is ready to finally be put into action, and once again establish its name as a feared and respected organisation.

Purpose:

The Ghost Hand Order exist for a number of purposes. Firstly, as a base of activity where Canen may regroup the original Red Dragon survivors and re-establish the foundations that held them together as a single family unit. Secondly, as a centre of trade and diplomacy between other peoples. (The Ghost Hand are not intended to be entirely dependant on militeristic methods to succeed). Thirdly, to seek and recruit newer, more talented potential members that could eventually take the clan forward into new directions.

Military strength:

The Ghost Hand Order's most elite unit is called The Ghost Hand Partisans, an organised group of fierce fighters and operatives that work undercover and also out in the open for the clan. Members are hand picked in total privacy for this unit, and when selected have to take a vow of secrecy and an induction field exam to become fully fledged members.

Other than this The Order have single and multiple operatives based in Corone and Radasanth, and own a number of divisions which can be allocated to tasks around the mainlands at short notice.

Leadership:

Canen Darkflight is the named leader of the clan, and also the head operative of The Ghost Hand Partisans. All long term and medium term decisions are made by him alone, including enlistment requirements, purchasing of food and water supplies, furthering of diplomatic negotiations and overall military command. General military command is passed on usually to the second in command and all administration tasks such as scouting and talent spotting will be allocated to a founding member at time of main staff recruitment.

Canen is a fair and just leader, but does not tolerate behaviour that could jeopordise the operations of the Clan. He will reward those who are loyal and true, but punish those who are not.

Ranks and structure:

Canen Darkflight has specified the ranks within The Ghost Hand Order as follows, asking to take note that there is ALWAYS room for advancement. Provided, of course, the justification in doing so is strong.

Code of the Ghost Hand Order:

This code has been shortened to basic terms, and a full copy will be made available to all on the public website, once completed, produced to match and fully describe in detail each section.

The Code of Secrecy: The Ghost Hand Order operate on a strict code of secrecy to anyone outside or not directly involved with their activities. All recruited members must agree to this code and be made to understand the consequences of breaking it or bending it for their own needs. Any mission which has resulted in the capture of a fellow member states that the utmost priority is to ensure total secrecy of activity.

The Ghost Hand Partisans: The Partisans are the Order's most secretive and elite section. It is at this point The Code takes it's most serious form, and aynone initiated into this unit will be given a personal breifing. The Partisans are always expected to go above and beyond the call of duty, to excel in every purpose and most of all to establish their mission as quickly and effectively as possible to ensure maximum effectiveness on the field.

Betrayal: The most serious of all crimes within the Ghost Hand Order. Betrayal will result in the expulsion of an offending member. There are no comprimises on this as this is considered a fracture of The Code and is punishable with exile or even execution.

The price of failure: The Ghost Hand are fully aware that there are times when impossible situations arise, seemingly sometimes out of nowhere. For this they are prepared to offer leeway for situations that cannot be helped. However, any member acting as a coward, or otherwise comprimising the mission through lack of judgement or dangerous behaviour will be punished accordingly.

The price of success: The Ghost Hand order sees success on the field as victory. Members who outperform or excel on the field will be noticed and all successful activities are rewarded in one way or another. Members who do well for the clan or achieve in any other way, battle or not, will also be rewarded. This can happen in many ways: through advancement, through spoils or via other means which would see members reach new heights in the clan structure.
