Scara Brea recruiting

I'm looking for a few adventurers who would be interested in joining in on a quest in Scara Brea with Baroness Hieras (myself) and Amon D'Rizt (dvlrockin). From the quest board, the description:


Title: Brokenthorn Lumber, Inc.
Number: 2
Summary: A fledgling lumber company, Brokenthorn Lumber, has just opened in Scara Brae. Their first venture is to begin a minor logging operation in Brokenthorn Forest, harvesting the fair amount of valuable wood available in the untapped resource. This prospective scheme has met fairly heavy resistance in Scara Brae, however: an environmentalist sect has risen in protest. While maintaining the front that they will settle this confrontation on a political basis, the executives of BLI are more than willing to begin logging regardless of that outcome. Should BLI fail in its operation, a precedent would be set that would hinder all such exploitations of Brokenthorn resources. If the logging company succeeded, then the geography of Scara Brae could experience great change in the coming years.

Currently, the baroness will be on the side of the lumber company, helping them move in on the forest. It's not yet determined which side Amon will be taking.

If any bold adventurers wish to join me in claiming this rich resource, or are foolhardy enough to try and stand in my way, let them post here or PM either dvlrockin or myself.

Lady Anais will be starting the thread, now that we have all the people needed I wouldn't imagine that it would be too much longer

Ok folks, I've talked with the Lady. The weekend was a little harsh on her, she will have the beginning post up either today or tomorrow.

Currently the quest stands as such.

Lady Anias and Rath are supporting the logging company.

Myself and Of Free Will have decided to wait until the quest starts to reveal where our loyalties, if at all, lie.

And Justice, you are more than welcome to join us. As illustrated above, it is not nessecary to reveal which side of the line your loyalties lie, but if you want to, post up here and let us know.

If it happens that either side needs more balance, I'll be happy to be the counter-weight. I was intending to choose, but I'd be less useful that way. So, am I in or out?

You are in.

You can choose if you want.

Play to your character, dont feel the need to "counterbalance" things. If there are more with the logging company so be it, if not, so be it. Not a big deal either way if 1 side has more PC's than the other.

That's just the thing,

Drenn J'hald left his home behind as the result of an ongoing argument, wandering the foreign land to search for mere content. I'll join the fledgling company in the beginning, though if the environmentalist sect is favoured and Brokenthorn continues with it's operations, then Drenn will likely lash out against the false company.

So, both sides :)
