Preview: Word of Dheathain in all its archeological glory has finally reached the ears of the international Althanas community, and now its ancient ruins are being flooded with amateur tomb raiders. While children with shovels dig their way to their deaths, Rajani Aishwara plans on introducing a bit of grown professionalism to this immature industry. The prime location is the Fae capital of Donnalaich and one of its largest isolated ruins. The intention is to start an excavation company with an archeological legend at its helm.

What I Need: A player with a character that can defend him/herself and others, basically a good battle oriented mage or warrior. We'll be facing many dangers in these ruins (monsters, traps, rival excavation teams ect.). I also need someone who can post at least once a day. I plan on this being a thirty post thread, so if the both of us can post just once a day, we can get it done within two weeks. I’m only asking of this because I just finished a time consuming film production, and after spring break finals will consume my time once again. This is a small window of opportunity for me to enjoy myself.

NPC’s
Mohammed Alrajem – A legendary archeologist instrumental in the discovery of several ruins in the Salvar Plains, and the Berevar Mountains. Now that he’s earned a fortune to keep him fed and sheltered for life he’s reluctant to reenter the perilous world of archeology. His son Lehaim intends on following in his footsteps, and is certain Mohammed still has a desire to dig.

Lehaim Alrajem – Son of the legendary archeologist. He hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps, but it seems as though his father found all of the nice and safe ruins the world had to offer. He is neither an adventurer nor a fighter, so archeology for him is off limits unless he has protection.

Government Representatives – The museum of Radasanthia wants artifacts, the Library of Ettermire wants information, the nan Roinn council wants tactical discoveries, and Rajani, the man leading the excavation, wants money. Hmmm.

Rival Excavation Teams – They’re envious of Rajani’s professionalism and potential. With a legitimate fear that he may find something great before they do, it is safe to assume that they’re willing to kill to get him out of the way. Who knows we may find some familiar faces from other power groups.

Eya~!!! I wanna go artifact-hunting! I wanna go artifact-hunting!

...Well, if only I how to fight properly... That and if only Master Raven wasn't about to go AWOL... Wah~!!!! *Bursts into tears*

...So sad... I wanna go artifact-hunting...

Seeing as my character can barely fight, we'd be a very vulnerable crew. If we can get one warrior to aid us, then I'll put you in there, Mikami.

You're asking for a melee character?

*Cracks open fans*

It sounds like a good opportunistic venture. But she'd only be willing to take risks in the specified line of duty, so if you get yourself into trouble, you clean up your own mess.

Curse you, quick people!

Sihiri would certainly go for a good archaelogical dig, he's got some history with Rajani, and he can hold his own against monstrous nasties and whatnot.

Would two warriors be overdoing it? Just think--in two weeks, we could manage a sixty post thread...

He didn't say it was first come first served. And Anila's part of the GO, not exactly a rival PG, but they'd have conflicting ideologies.

Karuka's partially right. I never did say first come first served. I'm going to go with the Glassmaker on this one. Not because Anila's a part of GO. It's only because Rajani's the type to get people into trouble because of his mischievous ways and that's exactly the condition that you wouldn't protect us in.

So Gadgeteer Mikami & Glassmaker, if you can post once a day you're in, and that will make this quest full and closed.

Sounds marvelous! I'm in. Posts won't be of greatest quality like I prefer them to be...but I'll make do with the time constraints.

Hey, I'm good to go. Even though Master Raven will be experiencing downtime, I know I can nag him enough to post at least once a day... or two.

*Sigh*

Internet is such a luxury...
