*****
Appearance: Ai Ren (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g193/cielalune/airenxian.jpg) wears a sleeveless cotton cheongsam garishly colored from blue to green at the bottom. It is patterned with white clouds and red-haired golden dragons. There is a heart-shaped hole in the middle of her chest where you could see her black wool tube top peeking underneath; although her breasts are in the way (probably where she slips her money pouch). Beneath her cheongsam are wool shorts that end one fourth from her thigh’s beginning. On her feet are cloth slippers that cover her toes colored red and patterned in gold flowers.
Her hair is braided then rolled into buns on both sides but the tails of the braids remain loose. She colored the tips of her hair gold to match her outfit. The covering is patterned like that of her shoes, red and gold. Over these covers are blood red flowers tied with gold colored string and jade marbles.
She wears no jewelry on her head. She has one long stocking-like glove on her left arm that only closes on her middle finger. Her other arm bears a bandage imitating the left arm. On her waist she carries a gold colored leather belt only visible from the back, it carries her weapons: two golden steel hoops and her dragon dizi.
Her face seems to bear signs of make-up but can only be thoroughly seen when one is looking close to her face. Her cherry red lipstick on the other hand, can be seen meters away.
Her bright and colorful appearance is caused by being raised from a travelling circus group.
*****
History: Ai Red had been in Qishulin all her life. She never knew her parents. She was only a baby when she became an orphan. A travelling circus group picked her up from a burned down provincial village in the outskirts of a big town. The circus performers called themselves, The Xian Family Circus.
They raised her like their own and she has grown to love her crazy family. All of them had their own special “weirdness”. Like the Siamese twin acrobats and the spider lady. There were quite a lot more as the years passed by. The Xian family always welcomed new members.
In the circus, Ai Ren has become the infamous animal tamer. She taught tigers and pandas how to juggle and jump through flaming hoops. She was loved by all ages and she loved being loved by them. When not in show, Ai Ren becomes a taho vendor (much like those peanut guys in ball games), selling snacks to the spectators.
~~~~~
One day, Ai Ren’s panda’s cub had run off into the bamboo forest. They had been setting camp there and were planning to move on to the next town, the next day. She no choice but to follow it, to make sure it would come back safe. It was still very small could be killed by anything taller than it was.
The panda cub was playing in a thicket, trying to catch a butterfly. She picked the little thing up and headed back to the camp. Just as she did, she sees thick black smoke spewing out from the location. She ran as fast as she could.
The camp was in shambles and everyone was dead. There were signs that the circus had been attacked by bandits and they stole the animals as well. The poor little panda cub cried for its mother; she was nowhere to be seen.
The survivors cried. They had lost their family without knowing. All they had left were each other.
It had been 4 years since that had happened, since then, Ai had been travelling to many places outside her country. She still performed along with her companion panda within the streets of some towns. Also, she still managed to make some of the tasty and strange snack to sell to the people.
*****
Skills:
Stavery - Ai Ren is average with staffs especially since she uses one to carry her snacks over her shoulders.
Wu Shu – Changquan (acrobatic type of martial art), Nangquan (hand to hand combat), Taijiquan (tai chi/ art of mediation) and Nangun (staff). Trained to protect herself from lechers and perverts, she practices the art of Wushu, so she could harm them but not kill them. Her skills are average since she found little time to devote herself to the art due to her job.
Panda Taming - She has the ability to control her pet panda, Bo Po, using a special dizi flute and two hoops. (Either she can use one attack twice or use one attack each.) Although, it usually disobeys her when it's hungry or lazy.
Bo Po Charge – Ai Ren throws a hoop at the nearest enemy which is around 10 feet away from her and Bo Po will jump through the hoop and strike the enemy with his head. It does not deal much damage if the enemy is heavy or large. The hoops can be used one at a time or both but at a shorter distance of 4 feet each. They are attached to her back from a sturdy steel chain painted gold. (It can only be used twice in a thread)
Bo Po Bite – Ai Ren can use her dizi to command Bo Po to attack someone 3 feet away from her. There is a specific song she plays for Bo Po to bite as well as to stay put and calm down. (It can only be used twice in a thread)
