It's going to be an initiation, but it was originally intended as a short quest.

The GO fortress in Salvar has been attacked by members of a former Ghost Hand Partisan rebellion, who were opposed to the new Order. They got inside information from a soldier named Sekonda about a new fortification on the area (before Sekonda died, he was Canen's advisor. He had intended to overthrow Canen but was killed in Concordia before his chance came) and decided to attack the officers in order to destabilise the ranks.

Fort Byrnia acts as a base for the 25th Division, a scouting outpost and an emergency bunker. It's location was not made public. It currently depends on supply convoys from aa depot in Erebus and is only half staffed.

Your mission is to come up on a convoy from Erebus, rally with an initiate (i'll let you know who) and join Brigadier General Mandal's forces on the hunt. I'll be controlling Mandal.

EDIT: I have decided that I think it would be best if I were to go solo for a while. I hate the idea that my inactivity (and there is a very good reason why I have not been as active since I returned from holiday which is extremely personal and not for the boards) is letting other people down in retrospective threads (the LCC being a prime example), and I intend on focusing more on Canen's development, which is something I have greatly neglected.

The Grander's Order has become so large that my hours worth of posting time a day is usually taken up by either reading through new material or posting in GO related threads that are going nowhere. Half of our members don't post, some of them aren't interested and sometimes I feel (with some obvious exceptions I need not name) no-one can be bothered, most disappointingly from people I personally know as well. Of course, I can occasionally get writers block as well. All of this thrown together doesn't really help matters.

I'm sorry to those in threads im in. I just feel like at the moment my writing is hindered by the fact my character is sub-standard and weakened in areas of development that should have been sorted out long ago, and because I have spent so little time (save one development thread) working on Canen I can't find a feel for my writing.

After the LCC, I felt I had let Raelyse down big time. We had a good chance of winning it had it not been for me.

Also, I feel like I haven't achieved what I hoped I would with bringing back the GHO...it doesn't quite fit Canen's character, which needs a lot of badly needed TLC.

Okay, I'm sick of all this shit. All iniation threads that have not been completed are now no longer endorsed by the Grander's Order. Unless I haven't seen anything, I haven't see one quest except for Stable Wars complete or even come close to completetion. From this point on, all quests that do not receive my permission will not be considered as initiation quests and members will not be given membership in the Grander's Order.

This doesn't mean that I'm cracking a hard line on new members. I want my members to be active and other than the SW boys, none of you have shown this to me. If you want to be a member, I'm still more than willing for you to join and you will be more than welcome.

Double post, but oh well...

This is to let all GO members that the first PG quest will be starting soon. After talking to Colin, we've decided it will be open to whoever (I'm told a minimum of two others) and it can serve as an initiation quest. I think I'll only be willing to accept a maximum of three, but don't worry. Part 2 of this quest will be open to many I think. Anyways, here's the mission.

The objective is to infiltrate the ranks of the guards at the estate of Baroness Paige Relvest. Once the group is in and disguised as guards, they will have to find a way to eventually become Relvest's personal guards. Once they are that close to her, they are to discover and record any information that could be useful to the GO. Of course this has to be done while keeping a low profile and avoiding detection.

As for the next phase of the plan, You'll find out those details once we get there.

Two of my "senior" and trusted members, Falcon and Sarah both left Althanas and I really didn't set up enough of a base for them to take over so they probably ranked this PG near the bottom of their priorities.

No worries, because I am in the process of tying up or continuing three quests which will lead to the Grander's Order procuring three new members of high caliber who will surely help us move forward and become prominent.

I have a quest planned, I just beg for you to be patient. I've always wanted this PG to be realistic, not to be one of those with members who join OOC and then suddenly appear ICly... that's why I wanted IC joining. I wanted realism.

So please, just a while longer and this will really fly.

The Grander's Order NPCs are divided into those that are combat fit and those that are not. These consist of about 75, composed largely of maids, chariot drivers, cooks and miscellaneous attendants. A further 40 are miners.
