You can thank Cyrus for this one since he threatened to post these on his own if I didn't. Feedback is appreciated.

I voted for my avatar. She has such big pretty eyes. :)

Enjoy. :)

Good "omg".

Which one is your favorite? Maybe I should just post a poll..

All?

But I really like the random one, the one you copied, and your avatar.

:P

omg....*bows to you* take me under your wing, great master of the sketch! I wish to become your apprentice!!!(a bit dramatic, but hey...those kick butt!)

the portrait is the best, I think...it almost looks like an old-time photograph

Massacre

Lol, ham, I haven't always been this good, I've had really good art teachers over the years. :)

hamnat
03-06-07, 07:54 AM
Ha...I'm like a Sorcerer. I've learned almost everything I know on my own. Same for my drawing, but I have gotten some advice from Raven and other people. I doubt that I'll ever be as good as you, though...my hands aren't steady enough.

Massacre
03-06-07, 07:55 AM
I used to be really, really bad. You just have to get someone who knows what they're doing to help teach you in person.

Although advice is good, being shown a technique is much better.

hamnat

Too true, too true...unfortunately for me, I don't have any friends good at drawing, so nobody can teach me. But if you used to be bad, then maybe there's hope for me, yet.(^_^)

Btw, I'm hamnat, aka Shen. I'm one of Althanas's resident art-whores. So expect several requests from me and others in the next couple days.(^_^)

I don't care if you don't take requests, I still have to say this:

Draw Caduceus for me, please!

Good lord, these are amazing. I loved the drawing of your friend. It looked so real!

Karuka

Geez, Cad, you art-whore. Chillouuuuuut.

Anyway, Massacre...good gods almighty. Talent like that should be illegal.

What'd I tell you? The Art-Whores of Althanas(AWA) are already making their appearance.(^_^)

If you need me to knock some people in the head with my staff or Torch anybody/thing, I'll be over here.*walks over to a low table and sits on floor* Ohaiyo gozaimasu(Good morning), btw!

Nice... Stick to the real life stuff though, I prefer them over your cartoon doodles...

that last one...is it based off of the Undercity guards in World of Warcraft? cause it really looks like 'em.

I'll sell myself to you for a picture.

You know you want me.

I'll sell myself to you for free.

Hear that? Free, baby!

I love your art. It makes me dizzy with admiration!

I want one *cries at lack of skill*

Seriously though, I would have to say the portrait of your friend and the random drawing are my two favorite. The random drawing because it's just cool, and the portrait because it looks obviously hand-drawn, but in the way taht hints at its creation. Which is cool.

Very professional stuff, I'd love to request a pic at your leisure but that styles way too realistic and defined to ever fit Cor heh, shame really, excellent work lass.

Pretty fucking awesome.

Looks like someone likes their WC3, by the looks of that teddy/abom combination.

Massacre

Lol, thanks everyone. :)

I don't take requests because I'm always way too busy with my own work for school. And academic stuff. I've applied for MCAD (Minnesota College of Art and Design) and 2 other art schools. But that's the one I'm hoping to get accepted into.

Thanks again.

See, that's the differetnce between someone who's *GOOD* at art, and someone like me, who can only do something decent when he's incredibly inspired.

Massacre

That's okay, you have to work at it. :)

Well, some of your drawings there look unfinished. You should always try to take a drawing as far as it can go.

And what kind of pencils are you using?

Whisper

Good Gawd. Do you do commissions? Not that I can afford one right now, asking for future reference I guess. I didn't vote because there was no "All" radial button. If you must, though, count me as a tie between the first and the third.

Massacre
04-01-07, 07:56 PM
I don't do commissions or requests but I've got some that you can look at here (http://www.althanas.com/world/showthread.php?t=4686) for public use.

Whisper

I've seen that thread. Love the pics there too, though of course wish there was greater detail. I'm not looking for a character portrait, just curious. I used to be commission addicted and still have the habit of expanding my "I must have art by this person" list, even though its grown far beyond the use of my funds. (not to mention inflation, heh)

All of my art goes to my current art teacher or in the portfolio for any art schools that ask for additional samples. Oh well, sorry. :o

Definite pwnage on the great majority of Althanians here. Hands down. :p

I'd go with the "All" choice, but you made me choose one, so...
