How I can I get into a quest?

So I'm kind of a noob and I'm kind of bored because there are no real quest that spark my intrest in Scara Brae. I don't ask for much I just want somebody that is on my level and RP's in 2nd person, becuase I can't work with first person. So if anyone has a good idea for a quest and needs someone who's a nooby to join I'm here or if you're a nooby I will gladly go on a quest with you maybe we can make mistake together and laugh about it. (that sounds gay )

2nd: I would really like to RP with someone who has experience so I could get a good story line and learn at the same time. Because someone told me that I could come here to learn well if having to read a whole thread is larning I really don't won't to do it!

There are a few things you can do:

Join in any quest that says "Open"
Start your own thread and see who joins
PM a specific person
Post a quest idea or something of the like in The Role-Player's Corner and see who is interested.

Nobody has ideas flowing out of their heads constantly. Think about what your character would be doing and go from there.

You won't ever get to know anyone unless you talk to people. Don't be scared to PM someone, if they're too busy then no harm done.

Additionally, not everyone is a good writer, you won't get better by just reading, and you can always edit your posts before submitting to fix errors or clarify something.

Thanks for the advice... really good advice, hopefully that will come in handy I have a few Ideas about who I want to RP with hopefully not busy or uninterested. lol

An alternate idea is to put up a battle in the Citadel, open to one.

Someone will probably take you up on it fairly quickly, you'll get a grasp of your character, and a little EXP, win or lose.

Why do low level characters think they can only RP in Scara Brae? Try looking around in the other RP sections as well for open threads. Also check the threads in the Role-player's corner since their's almost always a thread saying "requesting players for [insert battle and/or quest here]".

Ehhe, Karuka, I'd have taken your advice if my character could fight.

But back onto the topic at hand...

Not everything is going to be interesting but sometimes it's nice to just do something tame, at least in my opinion.

Reading a lot of other people's things and the weekly tips that are posted definately helps and a lot of what they say is useful.


Ideas for starting a quest.
Maybe why your character decided to journey the world? Or perhaps how he aquired a certain said object?

Most important thing is to have fun while other are as well, I think.

Also, feel free to IM or PM ANYONE on the site asking for help. We all can't write with you, but I can't think of anyone who wouldn't help.

Also, I would suggest trying out some quests in Alerar or Raieara, those regions need some love. I'm sure if you need to, someone could come up with a quest idea.

Giant stick figure man has become the diety of cultists somewhere in Raieara who are planning to channel a spell to corrupt and plague the trees of Alerar! Only the brave adventurer(s)? Can stop giant stick man? :x hell I don't know.

You guy are crazy but I have taken all thing into account and now I will begin my quest since my character just got approved not long ago, to learn how to really RP!!

EDIT: I think I got all the help I really need for right now can someone close this?
