(The long awaited guild battle at last. Teams are Cyrus, Grim and Falcon v.s Nakashi and his guild. As long as it doesn't get too out of hand, others members can join, but we want to keep numbers in Naphe's favour essentially.)

Along the night flooded horizon a glowing trail of dots lit of the hilly Corone border like a line of fireflies. The border forts and watchtowers that looked over and protected the country slept for no one in these times, the people of the realm all too wary about their history with regard to the legendary demonic invasion that had once overwhelmed the land and torn it apart, before the unity of the three great races. The Corone Army mainly oversaw the running of the border guard, with the Rangers taking care of inland business, but even with the military in charge of the realms defence's there were still those who could slip through the checkpoints and evade the eagle eye of the armed customs officers.

Although it was mainly considered an internal millitary matter, there were those in Corone that often took it upon themselves to defend their land against intruders. Rumour had slipped through the taverns and back alleyways of Radasanth that there had been the first stirrings of a small armed band not of Coronian origin headed through the foothills without the best intentions of their destination in mind. Some had dismissed this as rumour, or sheer speculation, whilst others had taken a little more care in listening to the stories. As with most things in life, where there is smoke, there is usually fire. Canen Darkflight the Nocturn was one of those types of people who had been careful to judge what he heard in the taverns: many a misadventure had occured due to false rumblings around the regulars, sometimes endangering his life, and due to his recent appointment as a main figurehead in The Grander's Order he had decided to take a lot of the hype with a pinch of salt. His untimely demise would essentially cause problems not only for The Order but for a number of other associates located elsewhere and he had no intention of perishing at the hands of something as simple as a 'roving band' of rebels.

He sat patiently on the side of an isolated foothill, amongst the long grass underneath a small cluster of oak trees. The wind bristled past him and shook the long, lush blades of the brush and thick leaves of the trees, and tossed his jet black hair to into the air behind the flowing linen of his runed crimson cape. His broadsword lay by the side of him as if it had also been waiting patiently for action, biding its time until it could taste the blood of whoever it was that could even think they would be getting into Corone to harm its people or society, provided that was indeed their intention and this band indeed existed. Something that was yet to be clairified. But if there was going to be a turn out for the show, these sharp, unforgiving emerald eyes would pick up on it. Before long, the moon had appeared over the crest of the hillside and had started to cast its light over the rolling valley below.

The moon seems beautiful here, a little more so than usual... He thought, pondering the lunar light with his mind. He tried to explore the texture of the surface with his eyes, seeing if he could make out anything of particular note that could capture his imagination, take his mind off things until this so called armed force made an appearance, if ever. He allowed himself to peacefully drift away whilst the glow of the distant watchtowers faded into the back of his mind.
