What's everyone up to on Althanas?

Well, as the title says, what's everyone up to nowadays? Your characters, of course. I've been gone for quite some time now, and in order to get back into the swing of things I'd like to know the general presence of Althanas' political, military and socioeconomical status.

well Kit and Inari fused into one being none as Ki and she had two children with Victor, but has her eyes on a were fox named Seth (no relation with Diss' Seth) and a home in Akashima. She also has a demonic sword that used to have a soul but when she banished the soul it actually set the demon free. I'm probably going to have a quest to finish the demon but I'm not ready.

Well~ Let's see...

There are rumors and a very real seizure of power in Corone... Now the Corone Empire. Things will change from what they were before, but that is for you to find out how much has changed. Underwood, however, is rebuiding itself after being devastated by a fire with the name "Kedx" hanging in their whispers. Oh, yeah. He's pretty much dead, by the way.

Fallien is fighting itself. Irrakam is under seige by the Cult of the Sun and the Harpies. Talk to Witchy and Valkyrie for more details or check out the War in Fallien thread in the RPC.

Raiaera is in a period of peace... or is it? Rumor is stirring about the possible war with their Aleran brethren, but it is only a rumor... for now.

Alerar, on the other hand, is in alliance with Salvar and things are looking to be very tense. Also, Queen Valsharess had been assassinated while her brother took to the throne. The Drows of Alerar are now more dangerous than they were before.

Salvar is in alliance with Alerar but I am not sure how their homefront is holding up. Check the information thread on that region from time to time for more details.

The Althanaversary Tournament is happening now! ...Still only Round II at the moment, but things are sure to pick up soon.

Istraloth is now opened for traveling! Check for more news in the RPC and the recruitment thread that pops up there from time to time. More activity on this new continent will be appreciated, thank you~!

Dheatain/Haide has surfaced! The Ruins hold many secrets awaiting to be unveiled, the Peregrine Group leading the pioneering expedition into its depths. What danger lurks within... We do not know.

[Slayer of the Rot]

As far as what's new with personal characters since the last time you popped in...

Dan's become an axe wielding villain, and the captain of the Tower in the new Brotherhood. After about using him for three years, I discovered he was better as an evil bastard than some mildly good aligned anti-hero. I may or may not have a few plots up my sleeve, one possibly involving the Brotherhood.

[Storm Veritas]

Storm is a beast now. Sadly, there aren't many quests that have run their course with him lately. Several have stalled out because of inconsistent posters, and waiting so long leaves me checking Althanas less and less.

[Uukan Kimari]

I somehow made it to the second round of the Althanaversary Tournament without a year of practice. Uukan can once more see and finds out the more he holds his cursed sword, the more he becomes demonic in nature.

[Zerith]

Zerith's still doing random jobs and helping out wherever he can. He did help out in defending Underwood from Kedx and his demons. The halberdier is also going to aquire a fortress in Akashima to call home as well as the base for the Order he will be forming.

Also the warder/mage relationship he has with Jasmine has blossomed into something more. After discovering that the woman he loved was currently with Raelyse, Zerith eventually came out and told her that she was just a toy of the Grander. Later the mage and warder are given an assignment to go to Kachuk and during the mission Zerith wooed Jasmine away from Raelyse. Now Jasmine is meeting Zerith's parents, you would think this relationship is getting pretty serious.

On a side note, I also made it to Round 2 of the tournament. Though I doubt I'll make it to the next round since I had to go up against the beast that is Storm Veritas.

Leon killed Corin/Brock/Showstopper.

Yeah, that's basically it for Leon in major events. Probably have been others, but I can't think of much right now.

He's also getting his ass kicked by my Mage Hunter...

And I have the only four armed character on althanas, and the first ninja...or at least, the first one to be semi-active. O.o I think...

I joined while you were gone and gave Althanas its first homonculous Mime and its first fully equipped Mecha with pilot. Plus a wolf-boy with a very large sword that knows how to use it properly thanks to research through Berserk, might not be the first wolf-man furry but eh hes the only one that knows how to work a lump of iron.

[Jasmine]

lesse...stuff on personal characters:

After defeating the villain that killed her uncle years ago, Jas put her brother on Moriah's throne. Later, she went back for a Midwinter Ball, at which she met and fell in love with Raelyse Salidan. Before this, she had been recruiteed by the Goddess of Magic (i forget her name) to join witha group of other mages and non-mages to go out into the world to protect the very essence of magic and to destroy the entity that threatened it. The mages and non-mages were paired up as mages and warders. Jasmine, having magic power over fire, was classified as a mage and was paired with Zerith. She and Zerith became fast friends and now, after having seen the light about Raelyse's cheating ways, that friendship has blossomed quite a bit as Zerith mentioned. Much is in the planning stages for these two, but that's about it for her right now.

Poison is still pretty much where she left off, except now she's a vampire, curtesy of Vorin. She doesn't like it though. Currently, she is searching for the lair of the man that betrayed her first criminal organization. This betrayal resulted in the death of her lover and she's still feeling rather vindictive. She is also involved in a quest in which I will be introducing a new character and she will also discover who her biological father is.

Cassy is back to wandering Althy, searching for Luther. Luther disappeared shortly before the two were to return to his home to look for his mother. Nothing much else there though.

Beauty was a relatively new character. She hasn't done much, but the pretty little slave girl will soon be free of her rather perverted master. Diss and Mime (corvus's other chara) are going to be involved in that. Nothing much else is happening with her though.

Vivian is a new character of mine. She is a fox-anthro with black hair. She's a thief, but not for much longer if Fenris doesn't get off his butt and start posting in Escape. She owes her boss a great deal of money and he's decided that since she's not doing well enough as a thief to pay him back, she can pay him back in labor...in his bed. But she hasn't gotten freed from her perpetual prison yet and i'm not going to do anything else until I've finished that thread. Once that is done though, she'll be able to go just about anywhere and will interested in just about doing anything.

So yeah, that's about it for my characters. I'm looking for stuff to do with Cassy and Poison if your interested or have any ideas. ^__^
