I have a mini dilemma. I've built half this plot and after considering it for two days, doing some research, and getting some fantastic input from my co-writer, I'm still biting my fingernails (ie: considering). So now I am going to ask all you Althanasites, since y'all know this region better than I do.
Plot goes like this: Commander X of Radasanth kills Commander Y of Radasanth, and then flees.
Commander Y's son hunts and kills Commander X
[Son of X] kills [Son of Y's] wife, takes his 6 year old son.
Question: Where's the kid end up?
A) Sold/taken to Fallien to become an uber trained soldier, live a mostly wretched life in the unforgiving desert? (they expect alot from his heritage)
B) (Directly quoting Jericho, BTW) Rather fiendish power-hungry noble in Salvar needs a young male heir for some political scheme, hooks up with vengeful son of Commander X, tells him to find him a boy of "good breeding." Vengeful son figures he'll kill two birds with one stone (or...kill one and kidnap another...anyway)
C) Other?
I'm completely open for new ideas, or thoughts on the listed ones. Thanks in advance!
