Name-Sid Poseidon
Age-20s
Race-Human
Gender-Male
Hair Color-Black
Eye Color-Blue

Occupation: Freelance

Appearance

-Sid is a man of discipline and it shows. He takes meticulous care of his body, maintaining a firmly toned body of average mass and average height, his hair is precisely one inch long, and his beard is always clean shaven. He has bright and intelligent blue eyes, and a habit of blinking only rarely.

Recently his eyes have become faded and his hair has begun to thin, though its hardly noticeable at this point.

Skills

-Swordsman: Sid is of above average skill in the use of long single-handed weapons, typically of three to four feet in length and single edged. He is trained in their use, though he never carries one on his person.

-Fist Fighting: Sid is of average skill in the techniques of fighting without a weapon, though he rarely has need of it.

-Habitual Usage: Sid's continuous abuse of the drug has begun to have side-effects, such as a small amount remaining in his system. At this point, he is so addicted that if he goes for more than twenty hours without, he will die. To his benefit, the drug also retains some use of his telekinesis. He is able to manipulate up to three objects weighing a total of fifteen pounds or less at slow speeds with minimal focus.

-Improved Telekinesis: Sid is able to manipulate objects weighing nor more than a total of thirty pounds at slow speeds, though it requires large amounts of focus. Manipulating multiple objects will drastically decrease the amount of time the drug is in effect.

-The Blind: At current, Sid can take no more than four doses of the drug in an hour; the forth will kill him when it runs its course. When using, he gains improved telekinesis as well as the ability to sense around him 360 degrees, as though by sight. The length of time he can do this per dose depends on the use, but will run itself out after five minutes even without activity. As it is a drug, when it recedes he experiences difficulty in general movement, and exhibits various signs of sickness. The amount he currently takes is so miniscule that he would be hard-pressed to use it all given a hundred life times and using as much as possible at every moment, so the need to re-supply is non-existent.

Items

-Artificial Lung: A small cigarette in appearance, it is in actuality a small glass tube containing nearly twenty filters and is able to resist heat, pressure, and impact. In order to be used the lung must be bitten down on and then breathed through, after which fumes are released that absorb instantly. The lung is made of entirely opaque black glass that is heavily enchanted, capable of releasing only the maximum amount of the drug at one time that the user can take without permanent damage.

-Heavenblind: A type of drug developed from the pure white bloom of the Heavenblind. When processed for use, it forms a thick gel that is explosive in combination with oxygen, and then placed inside the artificial lung. The drug, when taken in certain amounts, stimulates certain centers of the brain and accelerates upper level activity, allowing a degree of psychic awareness, dependent on the person and amount. As a side effect, the heavenblind causes the eyes of any who consume it to turn completely white such as those of a blind man’s.

History

-Sid Poseidon was born in Salvar, just barely inside the reaches of Berevar. The local people there are separated as a whole from the rest of Salvar, and generally keep to themselves most especially in that which makes them unique, the heavenblind. A flower of the purest white, all who so much as touched it were set into a comatose state with milky white eyes, said to be in struck dead by having seen heaven and left their bodies behind. At first it was regarded as a dangerous poison, until a particular discovery was made. At his birth, Sid’s mother knew that because of her pregnancy she was going to die and waited until the last few days before birth, and consumed the heavenblind flower. While any dose of it would likely be fatal, such an extreme dose was supposed to have reached the child in her womb, and it did. Sid was the first to be born with exposure to the flower, and the highest exposure to date, allowing him to take small doses without harm. What he gained from it separated him from the other children, made him dangerous. For a time he was allowed to stay in the village, on the assumption that the drug had made him so. But then other children were born similarly after him, and none had a temperament as violent as his, eventually leading his exile from the village.

Sid has spent a great deal of time fighting in the citadel and has become increasingly dependent on the drug in his matches, with mixed results. Traveling briefly to Scara Brea, Sid ran a kidnapping scam before skipping town, unsuccessful in his attempt to gain a famous royalty heirloom. Moving away from Corone, Sid spent a brief time among the drows of Alerar briefly joining a group unnofficially working with the Salvarian Church. Returning to Corone, Sid has found the Citadel hard to resist.

"Medium sized objects" and something the size of a "cubic foot" is a vague explanation. I mean, a piece of rock the size of a cubic foot weighs... Shit, I don't know, but it weighs a lot. I'd like to limit the stuff that Sid can move to, let's say, 20 pounds with ease, 40 slowly and no more then one object at a time.

Are those limits applying to always active telekinesis or drug improved telekinesis?

20 pounds for the always active and 40 for the improved, one object at a time for both.

How about that for a compromise?

As long as he can move those objects slowly at this point, it's fine. But if you start yanking people's swords out of their hands and start hurling those swords against them or something like that, it will be considered powergaming.
