Any plans for the quest, character growth, discoveries, whatnot? Also, in this thread, has he picked up any common or is he still latin only?

Character growth mostly, finding out where he's waken up.

He speaks Latin, only because he hasn't met anyone yet. He's still alone. :)

If no one posts, I might just turn it into a semi-solo deal until some kind of major plot opening allows it to develop into a quest that other people can join up in.

I may jump in. I'm hesitant to go into anything without an idea of plotline or anything, but my other quest is umm, waiting, and the solo I'm writing is a test of the soul, surely, and requires blood regeneration between posts. So I'm free, and my character likes yours. Can't post until monday, though.

I asked about the language because I saw that you were involved in a thread already, so I was more or less wondering about timeframe. I am guessing this one comes first, yes?

I'm also giving my character some minor knowledge of latin (nobles study that stuff, right?) so they can at least communicate basic stuff, unless you'd prefer otherwise. I've done the 'not speaking common' thing before, and it's pretty challenging, so kudos.

This quest takes place right where his history leaves off, or at least a few days after that. My other quest takes place after this one, in a liquid time manner of speaking. I might later meld the two into one big thing...if I can manage.

A basic understanding of Latin is most helpful, reduces the amount of time I have to use decoding the proper phrases to use, as well as wondering whether or not they actually make sense. :)
